Good Stuff!!

Comments about Mapex P980A Double Pedal:

I have to agree with the person who said the left chain is longer than the right, but if you know how to take a link out, its not a huge problem. It makes up for this flaw, however, by being an awesome freaking pedal! Ive never had it slide or move in the least. The tri-tonal beater is great to have, it really lets the drum thump with the wood side. Its good and fast, and the u-links are smooth and quiet. All in all, its an awesome pedal that is solid, well built. Definetly my favourite peice of hardware on my kit.

Sorry mapex.

Comments about Mapex P980A Double Pedal:

These pedals seemed great at the store and they were alright at first, though I quickly became disappointed with them, my main complaint is that the left chain was considerably longer than the right making it really hard to get evenly adjusted, I ended up just completely replacing the chains. But now after less than a year they're falling apart. Very disappointed, I hope this one was just a fluke because mapex usually has decent equipment. For the price get some iron cobras. You can't go wrong with those =D

Mapex Pedals

Comments about Mapex P980A Double Pedal:

These pedals are very good and pretty sturdy. I've been playing on mine for about a year now and the multihead beaters are a plus. The pedals response time is incredible and i can do some pretty difficult patterns with them. The only thing that bugs me is after about 9-10 months, the pin that holds the pedal to the heel plate slipped out and every time i'm playing, i have to lean down and slide it back into place. Other than that, these pedals dont let me down and i recommend them to intermediate players to advance.
