Comments about Marshall JVM410 Amp Head Flight Case:
A very necessary purchase for the gigging musician, especially if you're very concerned about keeping that expensive amplifier in prestine condition.
Solid wood construction, all-steel ball corners, industrial-quality latches, built like a brick. The thing is so strong, a 300lb guy can stand on the top of it and it won't even bend. Routinely use it as a seat when not carrying my amp in it. It comes with a storage case underneath the amp for storing the footswitch and the many cables needed to use the amp. And also has a removable inner pad that's marked "Not required for Vintage Modern series" yet I can't fit my JVM inside if it's in there, so I took it out. That leaves a small gap of room around the head, though.

Routinely use it as a seat when not carrying my amp in it. The rubber pads are over an inch thick and tough as car tires. The four latches on the box, only 3 of them came with the Marshall Logo. The 4th one said Penn-Elcom on it. Weird. I would have liked to have all 4.
With a tube head, you could carry it around on its own, but you always run the risk of dropping the thing, breaking tubes, other people in your band manhandling it. You know how people are, if they didn't spend the money themselves, they usually don't take as good care of it as you do. Well, inside this case, the amp is impregnable. Absolutely NO cosmetic damage can happen to it, but still be careful about your tubes.
