Comments about Martin M180 12-String 80/20 Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

For years I have used only light gauge silk & steel stings on my 12-string. With only one choice for those I decided to try these extra-light bronze stings and I have been very happy with the sound. I have tried phosphor bronze in the past and did not like the sound -- these are completely different!

I started using Martin string a few years ago just to check them out and found they have a very good string and don't try to break you when you pay for them.

Comments about Martin M180 12-String 80/20 Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These strings are a good low end product. They will last for 8 to 12 hours of really intense play time of hard licks and pickin'. They produce great volume on my 12 string and ring beautifully throughout the frequency range.. I have used these strings for several years and seldom break one. They represent the Martin name very well and are good sound for the money spent!

        Okay strings

        By Brian-pWj8y

        from Babylon, NY

Comments about Martin M180 12-String 80/20 Bronze Extra Light Acoustic Guitar Strings:

These strings were alright on my Mitchell 12-string, but as soon as I went to tune up the high octave G string, the string snapped and simply could not attain the G tone. I think they used too high a gauge for this string, since it was the same as the high E string (.01 inches). I bought a set of Ernie Ball Singles of .009 inches and strung one on, and it worked fabulously. I guess it's just that little difference that makes it. Other that this mishap, the strings are fine and I expect them to last a while. However, I plan on buying D'Addarios next time to see if all of their string will work.

I put these on my martin guitar, 2 years And they still sound new. It sounds like eric clapton made my own guitar.
