Have used for years. Always consistent and clear tones. They seem to last longer and have brighter tone before going dead.

Comments about Martin MSP3250 SP Bronze Bluegrass Medium Acoustic Guitar Strings:

I recently bought a Martin HD28 from Musicians Friend. I was originally using the Martin SP 7200 Lifespan Coated strings as recommended from Martin's website. They are really good strings as well, but are much darker and maybe a tad louder, but not enough to really matter. I think it's because they have more bass response, but at times they sound a little too muddy. They also take a day or two to break in to actually sound good. They sound kind of weird when you first put them on.

The Martin SP 3250 Bluegrass strings sound really good from the minute you put them on. They brighten up my HD28 a bit more and seem to have better and more focused tone separation. They really seem to have balanced out the sound of the guitar and I'll probably stick with them.

They are also half the price of the lifespan strings which seem to start losing tone after a few weeks of constant use. Just another bonus because I play my guitar a lot! I'm playing at least two to eight hours a day. Some days I don't get to play as much as I would like, but I take every chance I can get to jam.

If you go through strings like I do you might want to try these reasonably priced and excellent sounding Bluegrass strings. If nothing else for 5 bux you get to try something that might just be what you're looking for :D
