Overall if you are on a tight budget it is good but if you can spend a little more then search for a dealer on ebay to give you a body that has all the demensions you need
Bought this body with mighty mite bridge and you think it would fit...nope! I had to order 3 bridges until I found one that would fit(stew mac regular bridge with the grooved saddles..not the ungrooved brass saddle version) Customer service was non existant. Finally got through and they never called me back. Musicians Friend were no help either....MF get to know your products!!!!! Routing not very accurate.
It's not a bad body but I would help to give specifics on measurements and what types of bridges would fit. Believe it or not there are mant different bridges with very dofferent measurements and fars string spacing(obvious) and the length of the plate pickup hole matching with the routing. Routing was not very accurate.
There necks are a better value. KNowing all of this I would have spent the extra money and bought a nitro body from one of the reputable ebay dealers. They at least know the exact measurements. This is the fault of Mighty Mite but also Musicians Friend.

At this price you can't go wrong. Quality is first rate and you'de be hard pressed to apply a finish this good.
I built a partscaster but didn't want to finish the body. I bought the mighty might in natural because I thought if it looked like mostly like the one in photo that would be fine. Mine came to me and was absolutely beautiful. The wood grain was pefect, the finish - perfect. The string and neck bolt holes all seemed up to snuff and I ended up having a fantastic looking tele. It's not the lightest weight peice of wood out there but for a single peice swamp ash body that's kinda par for the course.
Anyway you can't go wrong with one of these - especially for the price. Think of doing a mary kay (white with gold hardware) for next one and will definately use a MM body.

I decided to build a parts-caster and wanted to do a natural blonde w/black pick guard classic looking tele. I took a chance on the MM body and I have to say the finish and wood are beautiful. For the price you really can't beat these. It's not super light but it's just a gorgeous piece of wood and the finish is flawless. I'm guessing it's a poly finish but I'm not sure. It could by lacquer because I put a couple of tiny cracks in the finish when I installed the string ferrules(whoops).The neck I had fit perfect in the pocket and all the fender hardware lines up with the routing and holes. The only downside is that the American Standard pick guard doesn't line up "exactly" so I've ordered a Mighty Mite guard and am hoping that fits better. Not a biggie though and a little trim work would make the standard fit. Bottom line is that if you want to build your own guitar but don't want to do the finish/paint work you can't beat these in terms of quality and price.
