Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

The 2905 is a nice, well constructed neck with a full, round c-like profile. BEWARE however, the details list this neck as being 21 frets when in fact, it is a 22 fret neck.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

I bought this neck even though I kinda expected to be disappointed. But no, the neck I received was good. Very fast, neck can be setup with low action. It has 22 frets unlike the specs on the site, which says 21, but it was good for me. There is no buzzing at all even with low action.
There are 2 small problems. Because the varnish, satin-like is pale, this neck is asking for a varnish job, which I will have to research how to do properly. Second, the fret ends stick out a bit and need a file job.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

The intonation on my Tele had been questionable for a while, even with adjustments. Upon closer inspection, I could see deep grooves in many of the frets. I looked into getting a refret job, which would have been well over $200 plus a long time without my baby. The new neck has made a huge difference in the sound and playability. It's like a whole new guitar! BE PREPARED, you will need a drill and some screwdrivers since the neck comes pretty bare. You'll have a to drill the holes where it connects to the body, and where the tuning machines go. An hour or two, and you'll be feeling pretty good about the bond you now have with your instrument. My tele was a custom build I picked up over 10 years ago, and it also had a mighty mite neck. Pretty good deal, 10+ years (and that's with tons of gigs in between) for [$].

              Good neck for the price

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

I can't say anything more but that the neck was better than expected and at a decent price. Very solid and the truss rod adjusts nicely.
This is actually on par with an MIM neck without the finish. It's bare wood but has a light finish which some people might actually like. Customer service is terrible and non existant so if the neck is delivered and unsatisfactory return it to MF. Once you mess with it MF will not return it.
They ship with a very light finish of which I used shellac and tinted it to make it look more vintage and it came out great. The frets were all level and it really feels like a quality neck. It doesn't come close to my USA Fender necks but it is better than Squier and on par with MIM. I bought USA standard tuners which fit perfectly. The holes are between 10mm and10.5mm so vintage tuners will be loose unless you get the conversion bushings on Stew Mac.Hope this helps.
I think based on what's out there I think that it's a good deal for those of us who need a decent neck for a good price. This is definitely better than buying a squier neck.

              Good neck for Price

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

Good value but you are taking a chance with their quality control and lack of cutomer service.
As good as MIM but without the finish. Better than squier.
Nice neck with qulity build and good working truss rod. It doesn't come close to my USA Fender necks but is right there with the MIM. I put a shellac finish on it to tint it and add more finish and it looks and feels great. The thin finish that it comes with is fine so you don't need to put any sort of finish on it. I just wanted it tinted.
I think there a good value but I do question the fact that their customer service is terrible and non existant. I had an issue with their own manuafactured bridge not fitting their own body and nobody got back to me. Make sure to measure and hope you don't have to deal with them. Musicians Friend wasn't helpful either. They should

Feels great, frets were very good but the nut had to go. Also will put on a tinted clear, as it is quite white and boring.
I could use this one for kindling, buy another and still be ahead on price for warmoth or others

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

overall,a good neck, with one exception: the pegheadany need for holes are not 10mm as advertized. They are actually 11mm,which means vintage tuners will not fit,and that 10mm bushings
also will not enable the use of these tuners. Kluson Tonepros and locking tuners will work
without modifying the holes. Mighty mite should notify its' customers of this situation.

MM2905 Tele Neck with Maple Fretboard

              By Michael Micklin

              from New Jersey

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

Overall the Mighty Mite 2905 Telecaster replacement neck is amazing. Rite out of the box the neck grain was beautiful. There were no pilot holes so i had to line up, mark and drill the holes for the neck heel and string tree myself. Skunk stripe on the back of the neck. This is the newer model whice differs from older ones. This model has 22 frets whice means that the fingerboard will overhang the guitar from 1/4" to 3/8". There is a very thin finish on the neck whice leaves it feelinmg very natural. The 12th fret markers on the new model now exactly math that of genuine Fender Neck. I put this neck on a Gold Top Schecter PT Telecaster and the guitar now looks anmd feels awesome, and this is where the neck will stay. The neck is very smooth and fast. Looks and feels great. Theres been times when im playingm my Schecter and i will actually think that im playing m,y standard Telecaster. The neck is awesome. Hope this helps/

              Mighty Mite Telecaster Neck

              By Peter Lucibelli

              from New Haven CT.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905 Telecaster Replacement Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

I have been playing guitar for about 30 years. I own 3 American Teles and a 71 Strat and a customer made Fender type Strat with a Mighty Mite Neck and body for that matter so I know Fenders well and the feel they should have. I recently decided to build another custom guitar with an American Deluxe Fender body and electronics. Since I already knew the Mighty Mite neck I knew that would influence me to look at Mighty Mite again. After pricing American Fender necks, I could not justify the price where Mighty Mite is so much less. It is an excellent neck. Does it feel exactly like the Fender? No but not that much different. That strat neck I have feels very close to a 70's Fender neck. Very hard wood, nice grain work through it, solid and a fantastic price. It has the modern size machine head holes so get 3/8 adapters if putting on vintage style heads like Kluson. Overall I have to say this is a very good American made product with an amazing price point. Very good feel and what I learned with the 1st neck is that if you put hours into playing it, you might just forget it was a replacement neck.
