Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905V Telecaster Replacement Vintage-V Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

I bought this neck for a Tele part-o-caster build. I have used Mighty Mite necks in the past, and will use them again. If you are looking for an inexpensive neck, these are fine. If you are looking for a high quality neck, get something else. This one is typical Mighty Mite. It has a nice look and it feels nice in the hand. The V neck shape is very nice. However, the truss rod is really tight in there. I am sure I will be able to lube it up and it will be fine. And it does turn. But it is very creaky and very tight. And the fret ends are very sharp. I know this is due to weather changes, etc, but it should not be this bad on a brand new neck right out of the box. I will fix these issues going foward on my own guitar. And I have no problems with these issues on a neck at this price range. You get what you pay for. Maybe a little better than what you pay for. It is a good cheap neck, licensed by Fender, so you get a proper headstock shape. And my Tele build came out great!

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905V Telecaster Replacement Vintage-V Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

I build guitars and the only thing one may have trouble is the finish on this model's neck. It does not have a finish on it, just a smooth sanded feel which will soak up oil from your hands over a period of time. If you want a silky smooth finish you will have to do that yourself and if you are not handy in that area it may cause you some heart ache. Other than that, I plan to use these from now on, I like!

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905V Telecaster Replacement Vintage-V Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

This is the fourth Mighty Mite neck that i've bought and i've been happy with every one of them. This one is the 'V' shaped neck and it's really nice. No sharp frets, smoothe finish, alld the right measurements as described. I build my own guitars and Mighty Mite are the only necks i use!

    MM2905V neck maple

    By Larry

    from Eastern KY

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905V Telecaster Replacement Vintage-V Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

it's just a fantasic neck all the way around.
Smooth fret ends are shaved so no burrs. The V contour is just like the 1957 v-neck. Appears to be made of Eastern Hard Rock Maple. The medium fret wire is contoured evenly across the neck. It is a flawless neck. The v-neck will let you play with more styles from power chords to wrapping your thumb over chords. I suggest using string gauge 10s or 9s.
I have not put my hands on a better built neck.
under a $100 for this neck is a great price

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905V Telecaster Replacement Vintage-V Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

I rate the Mighty Mite Telecaster V-neck an 8. It's consistent after adjustment, very responsive as I've said to any truss adjustment, my intonation (even with 3 brass saddles) right on. It clear coated (after an alcohol cleaning) beautifully. Proud of it, worth the money.
I don't exactly know how to rate features for a guitar neck. Anywho, it has a truss rod adjustment which is very active, and has the overlap for a 22nd fret. Nice.
These necks are licenced by Fender and the quality is excellent! Responsive to truss rod adjustments. Stays put when adjusted, no fret outs. Top notch quality.
The non birdseye maple w/ maple fretboard at this price is average. Wish it was cheaper but worth the money. The V-neck is cool and nostalgic and fast.

    GREAT NECK!!!

    By MuzicMaKen

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2905V Telecaster Replacement Vintage-V Neck with Maple Fingerboard:

The nut could use a changing but other than that I wouldn't hesitate to buy it....
I bought this neck for a LA Cabronita build I'm doing...It is absolutely great. I got some vintage amber to age it the clearcoated it and it makes the tiger stripes in the wood shine..... After letting it set for a while I installed the Fender Tuners with pearloid buttons and this neck looked beautiful.
I then installed it on the body and was prepared to do some setup...After installing it I strung it up and man-o-man it feels and plays like butter. I didn't have to do any setup on it as the frets were nice nothing harsh.
The "V" profile feels great in my hands. Do not hesitate to buy these necks, I plan on buying a couple more for a few more builds I am building. Yes there are more expensive necks but I doubt they are much better.
The quality is great...I have bought necks from Warmouth and a few other sellers but this neck feels every bit as good and LOT less...
    I will be buying more...
