I run full stereo on gigs and in the studio and use a remote headphone amp. These cables get me set up without having to use adapters and what not. They fit the bill!

Purchased two of these cables. They connect my studio monitors (KRK Rokit G2 6) and my audio interface (Apogee Duet 2). The sound quality is superb. No crackling noises when I switch on power or disonnect a cable. No hissing, absolutely no noise even when the volume is all the way up.
Take my advice and don't buy cheap cables. Invest in these and you'll save yourself the time and hassle of getting new cables when you find out the cheap ones sound cheap! It's worth the money.

Okay I read the review below which prompted me to write my own in response. I think that reviewer got this cable confused with one that looks very similar. This is a TRS cable, not to be confused with a TS. TRS = Tip Ring Sleeve, TS = Tip Sleeve. The difference? TRS is balanced, TS is unbalanced. What does this mean? You dont use TRS for guitars or basses. Think of this cable like an XLR/mic cable with a different connector, that's essentially what it is. These are used for studio monitors, patching, many active instruments... also you may think of this as a larger version of the cable thats on your headphones. Ever notice how theres an adapter to make it bigger? You can physically see the difference between the two if you look closely, TS has one band, TRS has two. Unless your guitar or bass is an active instrument (95% arent) than theres no need to buy this for that use. And when shopping for cables, keep these principals in mind: braided sheilding is better than foil sheilding, gold is good but not make or break, easily removable (screw type) jacks will make for easily fixable cables down the road. This cable is a high quality cable, but understand its use. There is an unbalanced version of this cable that I use regularly for lots of instruments. And just like the reviewer below, its last a very very long time. I also have this balanced version as well, great cable. You cant go wrong with this series of monsters, unless you get the wrong type.

I was only 17 when I started playing bass guitar, and quickly went through many many cheap cables. Finally I made the effort of buying an "expensive" cable, but really, it has been the cheapest of them all. Why? I've been using this cable on the road, on the studio and on my home studio and my cable is still flawless. I've even run my chair (with rollers) over it so many times, and the cable is still perfect. I had to replace the female plug connector on my bass guitar before replacing this cable. After so many years I bought an electric-acoustic guitar so that's why I'm buying another one.
