It's not snake oil, folks....

I have long felt that some of the upgrade/boutique cable companies employ a fair bit of marketing hype, and some products at the entry level probably need it. HOWEVER - I bought a 20ft Studio Pro 1000 to use with my Neumann TLM103 and I could IMMEDIATELY hear a difference.  More open, more detail; just flat sounds better.  I also have a Studio Pro 500 cable, but I don't feel the difference between it and standard ($30-50) mic cables is quite as pronounced.  IF you use one main mic in your studio, I think the expense of this cable is worth it to ensure as transparent a signal path as possible into your mic pre and/or DAW.

No doubt this is the best Mic cable you can buy anywhere, however I can not tell the difference in audio quality between this and the Monster Cable P500.  there may be a difference but it will take a computer to see it.  and for the price, i'll be buying P500's for now on.  Sorry but that's my take.

Other reviewers will complain, and the price is, indeed, very bad; however, there is no cable out there which competes with this cable's abilities.  This is, truly, the standard of excellence, when it comes to cables.  I'm a VERY picky audiophile, and nothing delivers like MONSTER SP1000.
