Have not put it to the long haul test yet, but so far it looks good. Nice padding, well made, fits my EPI LP jr just fine. Lots of pockets and straps. Remember this is a padded bag, not a hard shell case.

I had to buy a new gig bag because I couldn't fit the gig bag I had when I was living abroad into my suitcase. The fact that that gig bag could not fold nicely like a bedsheet was a sign that it was a great gig bag - great protection (as far as gig bags go). The Musician's Friend Deluxe Electric Guitar Gig Bag, on the other hand, is quite flimsy. It makes carrying my guitar easier, but I have to carry around my guitar almost as cautiously as I would if I were using a non-padded guitar bag. Had I never had a good gig bag, I'd probably think this one is fine, but since I did have one that was very good, this one is disappointing.

Great gig bag, it's got plenty of storage room for my chord sheets, cords, tuners, etc. Light, sturdy and it looks pretty cool too.

I liked everything about this gig bag. It is not thickly padded, but has ample padding to protect your guitar from everyday knocks and scrapes. Plenty of extra carrying space in the zip compartment on top, then there is another large pocket under the top one that straps down, I was able to put a lot of extras in mine. Quality is really good. I would recommend this gig bag to anyone for general purpose use, local gigs, etc. but if you want a gig bag that equals a hardshell case, then you will have to dish out the extra money, or get a hardshell case.
Made sturdy, plenty of pocket space for carrying extra chords, pedals, tuners, strings, etc.
Very good quality, well made, nice Musicians Friend embroidery on front.
Well made gig bag, and nice looking, for the cost.

They are advertised as having 18mm thick padding, but that's not true, 4mm or 5mm at the most. They are paper thin. They'll keep the dust off your guitar and maybe protect it from scratches but if you accidently bang it against a door jam or a wall or if you drop it you will end up with a big ding or a 38dent on your guitar.
