Let me explain my title: "For What It's Worth"
I feel I have spent pertinent amounts of time with this product to give a biased review...HOWEVER, I have only been using them for a month now (so I can't vouche for timely longevity), and I am only using 4 of the 8 in the package (so I can't vouche for ALL of the chords in any given package).
What I CAN say, is that with daily use for 30 days, in a Studio setting...the 4 chords I am using get 5 stars. There are NO buzzes, hisses, clicks, clacks, or clangs...no unwanted sounds or noises what-so-ever. This is a very good thing, if a person is recording.
I can't speak of their "hold-up" quality for someone that intends to plug & unplug them in, to move from Studio to Gig and back to Studio---but I would advice that it would be hard on ANY chord and pedal jack to do so; and one should get a pedal board, and leave them plugged in, and just move the board.
I say "color coded" in Pro's above, because it's easy (for me) to match each chord to a designated pedal of the same or similar color...could be an OCD thing on my part, but whatever.
I like them. They are a little longer than they actually need to be, but thankfully they are very flexible and can make any bend/loop you need to suffice your pedal chain.
As of right now (with 30 days of use), I can and will recommend these patch cables to friends...the price alone is worth the gamble.

I bought the right angle version. These cables look and feel good. When they work, they sound good. For some applications they are fine, but it depends on your gear. Depending on the jack in a particular piece of equipment, it may or may not work. In some jacks, the plugs do not make good contact and are intermittent if they are rotated. This has nothing to do with the wiring. It has to do with the way the plug seats in the jack due to the shape of the tip of the plug and the length before it hits the stop. The shape of the metal part of the plug itself is slightly different than every other cable I have and the tip does not make good contact with the jacks in musical equipment because the shape of the tip deflects the plug to the wrong depth inside the jack, either too far or too short and rotating the plug just slightly will cause the signal to cut out. This happens with every end of all 8 cables and can be verified with a cable tester (rotate the plug and it shows the signal is intermittent). I was able to force the plug to work properly by shimming the end of the cable so that the plug just barely can't seat all the way and it works fine then, but I really shouldn't have to shim a cable to make it work. Even the cheapest, worst quality junk cable I own doesn't have this problem. Only these, and again, it's every plug on every cable. Due to the item being so inexpensive, it was not even worth returning it. I would recommend spending a little more money and getting anything else. It's not worth hours of your time dealing with a problem like this the way I did just to save a few dollars.

These work fine. No issues with fit, or noise. I needed the 90* plugs for a pedal board setup. These were exactly what I was looking for. No need for the higher priced options. You can pay more, but it is not necessary.

    Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):

These are basically the cheapest possible 1/4 cords anyone could possibly manufacture and sell. They are also (so far) reliable and clean sounding, which I didnt expect at this price. Worst case scenario I spent about 60 cents per jack and have to resolder them to better cables after they break. So far Ive had no problems at all. Ive noticed no hiss, interference, blips in connection, etc. I havent had them long, so no word on longevity. My only complaints: -maybe less colors per batch, 2-3 different colors would be much easier to colorcode my chains. Im going to buy 3 more packs for my experimental rig, then I'll have 4 of each color. -more options for length. 17' is a little too long for my guitar fx and left me with some slack. I gave them 2.5 on features because they dont have unscrewable 1/4 jacks, but thats not a complaint because theyd be a lot more expensive if they did that.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. These are perfect for "Pedalboard Tetris". They're NOT studio grade but, they're 1/4" mono, not TRS. Perhaps some production runs have had quality issues. The pack I got are excellent. If space is a premium, the connectors may not be to your liking.

        Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):

I was looking for some pedal connectors that are longer than the standard sizes to rig up my effects pedal board. Price is always a concern for me and I wasn't going to spend a lot of money for one cable. I saw these and figured I'd give them a shot. Rigged up the pedal board with some of these, (I only needed to use 2) and was ready to hear some hiss or noise because they are so cheap but I was pleasantly surprised! The sound quality wasn't compromised and the right angle tips were perfect for this use.

Anybody can tell that these cables are not the best quality but, these should suffice to reach a hard to get pedal. I could not have made these for the price I paid. I've used a couple of these on my pedal board and, they are quiet and, hookup nicely. I would not consider using these in an application where there was going to be movement of plugging in and out continously but, left alone they should work fine.

I was a little worried that for the money these were going to hum or give me static noise. But they sound fine. The only bad thing is they have a rough tip fitting it gets stuck in my zoom recorder that has pretty tight fittings to start with. So I dont use it for that anymore. But between pedals or anywhere you need a short cord, there fine..thanks. I play a strat through a Marshall with pedals in between, comp, delay, reverb, wah, over drive, equalizer, wireless system.

          Comments about Musician's Gear 1/4 - 1/4 Patch Cable 8-Pack (17"):

I'm using them right now in my up-and-coming studio to connect effects pedals for bass and guitar, and there hasn't been any buzzing or connection problems. If you need cheap patch cables that work, go with these. Probably not gig proof, but good for studio work.
The colors are useful, since finding black patch cables in a giant jumble of black cables can be hard, the colors help.
Not the strongest cables ever. Quite flimsy cables, not metal protected at the ends, but they connect. I'm being careful with them and they haven't broken yet.
          Pretty much a steal
