It's a gig bag, not a armored case, right? It serves it's purpose. The bag is just a little tight, zipping up. Maybe that's good. There's no play, in the bag. But, I'm afraid the zipper may get stressed out, in time. But for the price.....who can really complain?

Good bag for the price, and YES it has plenty of padding. Could used a little more space in the pocket, but i have a capo, 10 foot cable, tuner, strap and picks in mine and it zips up fine, would recommend for this price its a good deal

I use this bag to transport my bass from home to practice and gigs. It keeps it from being damaged even though padding is minimal. If you are a traveling musician out on the road, you should invest in a hard case. Other wise this is great to lug your bass in you car or where you can keep an eye on it. The bag is quite small. A 10' foot cable and tuner are the only things that fit. The removable shoulder straps are great.

This gig bag has very little padding. This worries me while traveling. The front pocket barely holds my strap and chord. My 4-string P-bass barely fit inside, but my 5-string stiletto had room to spare. I will most likely be getting a different case very soon.

The item description says there is thick foam padding. In reality there is so little padding (perhaps none at all?) that I called Musician's Friend asking if maybe the one we got was defective. They sent a new one, which was nice, but it's the same.

Feels sturdy, fits standard body size bass. Offers basic protection with not much padding. Only complaint is that the zipper pocket is too small to hold much - not even an 8.5x11 paper without folding. Great value anyway.

I got this bag free with one of my purchases and i have to say it is a pretty decent bag. It has a lot of pockets like a backpack and it has some pretty good cushion. So overall its a decent bag. I would recommend a hard case instead of a gig bag.
