The Musicians Gear Deluxe Tripod Amp Stand is a tiltback-style amp stand constructed with a heavy-duty steel tripod base that adjusts to accommodate various-sized amps. More important, it features 5 tilt positions that allow for optimal sound. This fold-and-go stand is perfect for the road and it even includes a 5/8" threaded end, allowing musicians to add a mic or boom. Both the velveteen-rubber amp holders and foam-padded collar that slides along the upper shaft protect your amp from scratches and dings. Can support up to 100-pound amps. Has a black coat finish.
The 22" Musician's Gear Posi-Lok Combo Boom Arm has a 7" adjustable mini boom. The fully articulate boom handles any style of microphone so you can position you mics for close or medium-distance miking. The boom arm's proven Posi-Lok clutch is safe to use with even the most valuable microphones.

This stand works the way it should. The posi-lok arm isn't much to write home about. Its cheap looking but it still works. I ended up taking mine off and attaching the mic clip directly to the boom itself. Less to work with and because my amp is a small tweed amp I didn't need the extra attachment.
It's sturdy, adjustable in just about every way imaginable, and solid where it counts. Folds up easily into a somewhat small package so it's perfect to travel to practice and gigs. Perfect addition to anyone's setup.

Exactly what I wanted, a lightweight and sturdy stand that doesn't push in the back boards on amps. It has a nice padded pole and I like how the mic boom is detachable. The angle is controllable too, from the rear leg, a nice unexpected feature.

The only catch is you cant adjust the angle of the kickback. But i don't care, it works great.
Great stand. The boom holds the mic perfectly. There's even a little adjustable cushion to protect the back of your amp. I use it with a 1x12 and it works great.
Seems pretty sturdy, should hold up just fine. I'll definitely get my $ worth out of it before it needs replacing.

This could be the stand you want. Great price. Excellent for small amps (Roland Cube). We are short on monitor sends and can't feed all 8 people a separate mix, so I use these stands and point them back at the guitar players so they can monitor their guitars (keeps the overall stage noise down). Slap an SM57 on the amp and you are ready to go.
The boom stand allows for close miking.
This stand will last if you take good care of it.
For small amps, this may be the best deal out there. Great for "practice amps" if using them live.

Overall good product, good value and should last. Mic boom works well, and the rubber sleeve on the adjustable vertical support keeps the amp cabinet from contacting the metal support. Well thought out. It takes the weight of a Twin Reverb and doesn't feel like it is sagging under the load. I can recommend this to any guitarist who consistently mic's their amp.
This thing is fantastic. They have thought of everything when designing this stand. It is nearly infinitely adjustable, sturdy, and folds up into a neat package that fits right in my stand bag. I have used it with my Fender Deluvxe Rever, which is a smallish amp, up to my Fender Twin Reverb, which is large AND heavy. This stands works perfectly with both of them. The boom moves around easily and stays put once you tighten the fittings. I use Sennheiser E-609's to mic my amps, which is fairly light, so boom sag isn't an issue.
Good quality, should stand up to the job it's intended for. Plastic tension nut on main boom swivel could prove to be an issue in the future, seems good now.
Value is right on the price point. It's well built, strong, and in my opinion a good value.

If you are looking for the perfect item to take you combo amp or light 1/2 stack off the ground, tilt it back and mic it up all in one, then this is exactly what you need. One of the best things I have bought for my bass gear.
I LOVE the fact there is a built in mic boom arm. So much easier to set up and go!

Solid. Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. Thats refreshing with so much junk on the market passing itself off as an amp atand or mic stand. Worth every penny. Love it.
