Good Quality

Only problem is the plastic piece to where the legs are mounted to. Seems that if stand falls on its side it may easily break rendering it useless. I know, this has happened to me once already but not with this brand. We'll see.

Exactly what they said

Features:

It's cheap and is exactly as stated.  I have used them both for speakers and lights.

Quality:

So far so good.  It's like everything a musician gets - treat it well and it will last you forever.  You probably shouldn't put your car up on a set of these, but I can't imagine with proper care that they will cause any problems.

Value:

I happened to show up on black Friday.  Totally worth it - worth it at the regular price too.

Overall:

I have nothing bad to say about these stands.  They work well, look normal, and were CHEAP!  You will be hard pressed to find any stands at this great of a deal.

Adequate Speaker Stands

| Review By: Manuel Jimenez | 8 months, 1 week ago

4 people out of 4 found this review helpful

Features:

Has everything a basic speaker stands has to have, they are lightweight and can (so far) support my Yamaha S115 Speakers well, though the stands wooble a bit.

Quality:

I've had them for about 7 or 8 months now, and I've used them in an average of 15 to 20 times for about 2 - 3 hours per event. So far so good. I'm giving them a 6 because they came without (or maybe it fell in the first gig) a nut that holds the leg spread ajustment knob.

Value:

I got them on a special if I recall correctly, despite the deal with the knob and the nut, they still fulfill there function.

Overall:

Good stand for the price, watch for any missing parts the first time you open them, not the best stands but, if you not going to use them everyday, they should hold up pretty nice through your gigs.

"Light Duty" only

Be careful with these, and they will do the job for you. But if you     play a lot of gigs, you would probably be better served going with     sturdier stands. I usually leave these behind, in favor of my heavier duty pair, unless I need to set up extra speakers.

I have a pair of these, and one of the knobs was broken already in the box when it arrived. They break very easily. The lock-down mechanism also breaks easily if you tighten it too tight. The pole end caps also break easily.
