    Great for home use... or the occasional gig.

    This has a good quality carpeted rack unit that slides into a tough bag for transport. The problems for frequent gigging is... this thing is heavy and a little awkward slidding in and out of the bag.

    Comments about Odyssey 5-Space Rack Bag:

    Carpet on primary rack is poorly glued, and easily separates at the edges on the inside of the rack. Unit I purchased is advertised as 16" - and since there is no separation between the rack-face and the cover - as with hard-shell racks - I assumed a 16" rackable depth. Actual depth from the rack rail to the rear of the rack itself, is approx. 14.5" - which renders the "16 inch" conversation somewhat moot, in comparision to other brands, which roughly carry the same rackable depth. Own a different brand rack bag with handle on the side. That set-up makes for easir transport, in my opinion - so, something else to consider.
