Who would have thought that capos could make a difference in tone? Welll I didn't. But after giving up my fancy G7 capo, I realized it was damping the sound. The Paige capo opens up the brightness and dynamics of my guitars (a 1926 000-18 and a 1944 00-18). Plus it's easy to store behind the nut without affecting the sound. Reasonably priced, this capo has it all. Also, it is small so doesn't get in the way of your hands. The locking mechanism seems a little flimsy, so we'll see if that affects its longevity. Overall, THE capo to beat.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

There is no reason to buy a differnt capo. The Paige is the best. Stays with the guitar so you don't lose it. It's not in the way when are not using and you barley know it's there. I have them on all my acoustics.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

A very nice capo that is both refined and is micro adjustable. My only complaint is that it takes just a bit of time to set up and you need to be careful not to bang the finish on your guitar. Once in place it is super easy to move around and on my guitars it can be stored at the nut without being in the way. I A/Bd it against a Shubb deluxe and found them to both function perfectly without making the guitar go sharp but for me the Shubb wins out with overall easy of use.

The best capo I've ever had...I like the idea if you get a little string buzz you can tighten it a little bit more ...and don't have to worry about the tension of a spring..and it's very well made!

Excellent capo except because of the design of the Martin D-28, it cannot rest above the nut when not in use as the D-28 neck is too deep above the nut. No problem, I use it on my Eastman John Pisanno instead.

I've always hated capos. They are generally bulky, a pain to use and don't always stay in place. Not this one. It is small and easy to use. It doesn't distract from the look of the guitar and once placed stays in place. I can keep it right above the nut and slip it in place in seconds.
