I Have a Tacoma DM14CE acoustic electric. This capo works great on my guitar. My Tacoma is 1and 7/8ths inch wide at the nut and at the ninth fret it becomes 2 and 1/16th inch wide. The 10th fret is just slightly wider. This capo is almost 2 and 1/8th inch wide at the top inside dimension and has a 3/4 inch adjustment up and down on the screw. My Tacoma guitar keeps it's neck profile all the way to about 3/8ths of an inch forward of the nut. so this capo parks easily on the nut and beyond if you really want it out of your way and you can sinch it down there without putting to much pressure on the strings. Also you can move it to the 1st 2nd or 3rd fret and hang it on a wall hanger. NOW AFTER SAYING ALL THAT. I want to let some people know that this capo will not fit on the nut of some guitars, But will still work by opening and closing the little U shaped latch once you get it worn in to open an close easily. My brother has a High end Yamaha acoustic electric. The profile on that guitar starts to change about 1/4 inch before the nut and is too thick for this capo to ride up on the nut. Some guitar makers make their guitars thicker where the neck starts to bend at an angle past the nut because that's where most guitars break if they fall over, especially if the truss rod adjustment is on that end. This capo works as well on the 9th fret of my guitar no buzz clear as a bell sounds like a mandolin as it does on the 1st fret.

6 string capo: Does not work above 6th or 7th fret depending on your guitars neck size. Also if you use a guitar strap connect above the nut like I do you have to take the capo completely off after use (versus leaving it clapped above the nut as recommended by the manufacturer). Disengaging the cape with the tiny little "U" hook is not that easy either. Does work great when properly fitted and connected though. Personally speaking I think this is a work in progress as I still require the use of my Shubb or Kyser. Now that's 2 capo's I carry for the 6. The same is true for my 12.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

Used for a number of years. Bought this for my grandson. Worked well on my Ovation 12 string with thinner neck. Didn't fit well on my Garrison 12 string. Tended to pull my strings out of tune when I switched it.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

I have always had a fear of losing my clip-on capo. I never have lost one, but I always have a slight panic attic when it's time to use it and I go digging through my pockets, checking my case, mic stand, and wherever else I might have left it. This one stays right on the guitar at all times and is fairly easy to move and store. I like it. It's not quite as quick or easy to change as a clip-on capo, but it can still be changed in a matter of seconds.

I use this product on my Martin D28 guitar when I play Bluegrass music. It's easy to use.
The plastic piece that touches the strings will eventually wear out but you can substitute a piece of plastic tubing for the original piece and that seems to work well rather buying a whole new capo.

Thought it would give good even fit and intonation. It did not fit my fretboard radius,I will have to try and bend it to fit string radius. My Planet Waves D'Addario capos are still the best around.

This was a gift for my husband, who never buys anything for himself. He was so happy with it, and he was pleased with its ease of use and the sound of equal pressure on the strings as he played. I was pleased with its quick shipping and the low price. I got it for cheaper than I could find it anywhere else – and with free shipping to boot. We are very happy with Musician's Friend, not just in this purchase but in past purchases as well. We will definitely refer to Musician's Friend with future instrument/accessory needs as long as we can get the lowest price with them! :)

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

The good: This capo applies solid, even pressure across all strings, keeping decent intonation between changes. On most guitars, the unit can be kept on the neck just behind the nut for low profile easy access (I don't use it on my old D-28 because the neck flares too wide just behind the nut). There are some good quality spring-loaded capos out there that are also easy access, but I'm not a big fan of their giant spider appearance hanging off the headstock.
The less good: This capo takes a couple of seconds longer to change on stage than some others because you need to loosen the thumbscrew before sliding it into place, then tighten it to a reasonable tension in its new position. Also, for practice and recording, I still have a personal preference for tried and true Shubb capos, a bit awkward to pull in and out of pockets while performing, but solid and stable with your own preset tensions and perfect for when you are going to leave the capo in one place for an extended time.

Comments about Paige 6-String Guitar Capo:

This is a nice small capo, sits up real close, almost on top of the fret where it needs to be. It does not de-tune as much as the other huge capos. It does not get in the way of your left hand. You can park it behind the Nut, but, if you clamp it too tight it will de-tune.
