This is the best music stand I have ever used. I have a music ministry at several nursing homes weekly. I needed something portable, yet sturdy, that could hold several music books without folding up. I have used the first one I bought for over ten years. I bought a second to keep at church.
For the money, it's excellent!

Overall, it's a good stand and works exactly as it is supposed to. I just with it was more durable.
This stand is a great concept. It folds up and fits into a portable bag for the gigging musican.
The problem is the quality. I've had this stand about two years and the center panel of the stand is now cracking. The feet on the legs cracked many months ago and the zipper on the carrying back stooped working properly months ago as well.
For the price, I suppose two years is a decent amount of time for this stand to last but I'm rating fairly low on value.

I like the portability but it only lasted a couple gigs once we loaded it down with our book of tunes. The table cracked in several places. Probably be fine for a classical player but not for a band with a lot of music.

The "river table" technology is a quick and effective rail which both flattens and keys into the table forming the bottom support. The adjustable locks for legs and height are cam locks and seem very effective. I've suffered with slipping clutches, heavy tables and flimsy wire foldouts forever, and this is really stable and satisfying to use. Probably get another after I put some miles on this one.

I freakin' LOVE this stand!! As far as portable stands go, I am only familiar with those horrible metal ones that are extremely unstable. This one has plenty of room for lots of music! And I love the portability of it and that it comes in its own carrying case making transport soooo much easier!

The shelf broke after two performances, and the stand won't stay up with any weight at all. Very disappointed. Maybe the product was defective...no help from the store I bought it from either. My music binder is about 2" thick and probably around 8 pounds. If it worked, I'd recommend it.
