I bought these and they just came in the mail today. I was excited to be opening them up, they were my first set of leather straps. The looked gorgeous in the box, the gold tinting on the eagle comes out so well. Pick them up, great quality tough leather. I'm sure they will last me for years. Put them on my bass... put my bass on... my bass is at my belly button. Granted I am 6'4, but that isn't freakishly tall or anything. They should adjust to someone that is at least 6'8, that should be standard for all straps. Apart from how ludicously short they are, they are great. Put one on my acoustic, which I play sitting anyway, and gave the other to my brother in law who is about 5'9. They work great for him.

This strap is real leather which is great, but the design looks a little chintzier than I thought it would, and like it might possibly rub off in a matter of days. As a female who is rather well endowed in the chest area, there isn't QUITE enough length to make this a GREAT buy. There also wasn't anything included with the purchase to help attach this to the neck of the guitar.
All things considered, I still want to use it!

I bought these and they just came in the mail today. I was excited to be opening them up, they were my first set of leather straps. They're uncomfortable since day one.
I've bought one of these when I first started playing guitar mainly for the pricing and looks.
If you're looking for a strap while sitting and playing, you might consider them since they look nice (after a while, you'll find chunks of fabric "dust" on your shoulder). But if you're standing and jamming, you'll most-likely battle with them for comfort.
They aren't friendly with weight. Better used for sit and show than standing.

Simple, good quality strap. Nothing fancy, but it is a genuine leather strap for the price of a nylon strap. Gold eagle is nice, but a bit garish. All in all, a good value.

I'd never buy another.
I got the rose strap, and the holes weren't big enough for the peg, then the thing ripped right in the middle of a gig! Good thing my reflexes were quick enough to grab the guitar as it fell. You get what you pay for.

Good leather, good feel, beautiful embossed design and for the price it's a steal if you're into leather straps but don't want the thick stiff feel of most. Great for acoustic guitars.
Quality leather strap, bold embossed leather design. Good leather, perfect for acoustic guitars.
Quality leather, not so thick that it causes the strap to become stiff. Backside could be better secured/conditioned. Have yet to see any major issues.
For a leather strap, it has a fantastic price. I'm an amateur leatherworker, and though this isn't super top notch leather or have a country leather strap feel, for the price it's amazing.

Ok I bought the rose strap for my Elec-acustic guitar. The strap is too short, 51 inches long, the guitar is hanging in my lower chest and that is annoying to me. The rose in the strap was really shiny, I would feel embarrassed going out stage with this, (I play in a rock band) like that, so I took nail polish remover and fade away the rose then, I put some shoe polish and paint it all black. Now looks cool, seems like the rose was carved in the strap, but still to short. The quality is ok, is rough leather and it will last but is really hard in the backside. You don?t want to use this strap wearing no shirt, it will hurt you.. I would say pay a little more and get something better.

I'm getting ready to order 2 more (just too lazy to swap back and forth!) I will have 4 Gold Eagles and a Rose. Have many other straps - Fender, Gibson, Ralph Marlin, Levi's - and the Perri's are thinner and more flexible. With 9+ pounds of LP, no need to add extra weight from a strap! These fit the Schaller strap locks better too. I get so many compliments on the Golden Eagle (as if landing with talons open). Compliments are nice, but wear and functionallity are more important to me. Perri's are long lasting AND functional!

Perri's leather embossed guitar straps are awesome! I got one, and it's definitely the best strap you can get in its price range. In fact, it's better than straps that are twice its price! I've had mine for about four months so far, and I've gotten plenty of compliments on the cool design. Plus, it's a quality leather strap that feels great. What more could you possibly ask for?
