Comments about Peterson BodyBeat Sync BBS-1 - Wireless Pulsating Metronome:
The ability to save the tempos I use at shows is very nice. I like being able to quickly get to the tempo of the next song.
I bought this mainly for the vibe clip though. I was very into the idea of not needing to wear headphones while drumming. We use time sensitive samples that require a click. The vibe clip, unfortunately, is useless for a live drummer. When this arrived I used the clip at home and played guitar along with it. Seemed to work, but I noticed I could HEAR the vibe clip vibrating. However, at my practice space my drums drown out the sound of the vibration and the "feeling" is very faint and just doesn't work as a metronome. It was a great idea, but just doesn't work. Back to headphones for me.
Using the vibe clip to avoid noise in a studio most likely won't work. The vibration is loud enough for a condenser mic to pick up.

My daughter likes the tuner a lot and she seems to practice a little bit longer than usual. Hopefully, this gadget will help improve her skills and abilities and propel her into the next level as a soloist.
My daughter really likes the tuner that came with the metronome. She indicated that she liked that feature in the new gadget since the app from her Ipod Touch only provided the beats.
Such a compact product with a lot of features. The quality seems to be superb and we hope to keep using the metronome for many more years into the future.
Price was a little high; however, with all the additional features that came with this gadget, it seems to be worth the cost of the item.
Comments about Peterson BodyBeat Sync BBS-1 - Wireless Pulsating Metronome:
The only thing that really bugs me is that the pulsating output bypasses the headphone output. Sometimes the clip moves around and I lose contact with pulse generator. It would be nice to have both so that in certain positions, when the pulse is not contacting my body as much as necessary, I could still have 2 points of reference. Other than that this things is a trip! The pulse is especially useful for practice sessions where the practice pad would disappear in the audio click of my Dr. beat when I'm right on the beat. oh yeah but not coming with a wall charging adapter is also kind of sucky. what is with that Peterson?
