Comments about Proline Standard Metal Sustain Pedal:

It worked well with a cheap casio keyboard I was given (which has the reverse polarity of my Roland digital piano). One note: the pedal is a little stiff and the distance you press down to engage it is not that much. So if you place it on carpet you need a piece of wood, or your wife's laptop underneath for it to engage consistently. Or buy the slightly higher priced one that looks like a normal piano pedal.

Comments about Proline Standard Metal Sustain Pedal:

If one needs a smaller sustain pedal, then look no further. This is well constructed, and compact overall. It also sports a selector switch, so you can adapt it to either open or closed sustain circuits. A excellent investment!

Comments about Proline Standard Metal Sustain Pedal:

Was not completely pleased from the beginning because it was not sustaining perfectly as it should. I would open it up and adjust the wire and it would work better. I also put in a sturdier spring that I happen to have and that helped as well. Then it stopped working completly because the wire that controls the sustain had broken. Rather than trash it because I had pretty much had it at this point I decided to make my own wire first by taking a safety pin and modifiying it. Well so far it hasn't worked better. If you're handy and like to tinker like me cool, if not buy the more expensive one.

Comments about Proline Standard Metal Sustain Pedal:

I am loving this pedal. It works perfectly as it should and has reverse polarity. It's compact but sturdy. It's not really heavy and packs easy in a gig bag, but has enough weight to keep it from being accidentally kicked around under my boards on stage. This pedal is perfect for live performers who like to stand while performing.

I hooked this up to my Akai mpk261 keyboard. I was going to use the one I had hooked up to my Roland Keyboard but I needed a reverse polarity one and I found this one. It;s nice all metal..
