Keyboard stand setup in a snap.

This keyboard stand's patent-pending "Z-structure" design sets up and folds down in literally 10 seconds flat. Height adjustment is a snap due to its spring-loaded, dual-pin system that instantly releases and locks the tiers into the desired height position. This Quik-Lok stand is great for tall keyboard players because of Z-71's maximum height of 39". There is absolutely no sacrifice for strength or stability because of this design; in fact, this is one of the sturdiest keyboard stands Quik-Lok makes.

This company needs QC

Comments about Quik-Lok Rapid Set Up Z Keyboard Stand:

This is a very stable stand and well worth the money. I also purchased the additional tier for this stand. Right out of the box I noticed that the metal used in this stand appeared with many surface defects. Lots of welding pits and scratches that should have been sanded before paint. The unit was not the glossy polished unit like the one in the pictures. Mine arrived with many scratches that had already begun to rust. As I carefully unfolded the unit one of the locking pins sheared off the first time I locked it into place. I was able to repair the pin myself and without much difficulty. I think this company simply needs a little quality control on the production line. Over all the stand is very sturdy and I like the add-features. I especially like the fact that this stand will raise to 39? inches. If you are a tall person this is your stand. I would have given this stand higher marks if it was not for the condition mine arrived in. Who knows maybe mine was a scratched up prototype that made it out of the warehouse by mistake.

Comments about Quik-Lok Rapid Set Up Z Keyboard Stand:

I would recomend this to another person. For the cost I was happy for what the stand does. I thought the material was to thin and caused my keyboard to wobble too much. However, sitting down the stand does work well.
The stand is easy to collapse.
I wish it was a little more sturdier. When playing standing up, the stand tends to wobble to much. However, if playing sitting down, the stand does well.

Comments about Quik-Lok Rapid Set Up Z Keyboard Stand:

I hadn't been able to tell from the picture or specs, but it turned out that my Korg SP250 sits a half and inch higher than my Acoustic piano as well as other X Stand, that's within the realm of playable for the one gig I had it on, but really too high for my gig bench and sense of playing piano 29 1/4 " top of white keys using average portable digital piano depth make sure that base level is available. I also didn't know the crossbars would exceed my SP250 which is under14" on either side by more than an inch. If they would make one for the slim 88 note digital piano with as cool a look but 3/4 less on the weight, no overage on the Z top crossbars, i.e. 14" max, I'd reconsider.
If you have roadies, and sit a bit higher than a piano like over a half inch or more higher and your keyboard is larger like 17' inches width, of course 88 notes in length plus then it would be awesome. Me, moving it myself the metal vibrated in such a way messed with my hands that made it harder to play right away, and it hit my ankles a couples times and barely fits in my small car, I decided to send it back. I do recommend it for larger scale keyboard -sitting -just a bit higher -persons, with roadies or a truck (use gloves!) ...and the keyboard plays still as a piano no rocking or reeling, that's for sure. Looks good enough to be a modern furniture item in a nicely appointed living room make sure bench height matches, adjustable artist bench would do it for that. Please make a slim lite version!!!
