Qwik Time

Tiny yet feature laden!

Packed with professional features, the QT5 offers functions not seen on metronomes that cost twice the price. Credit card-sized, it features over 200 tempo settings, distinctive click sound, A440 tuning tone, and low-battery indicator.

A very small metronome, it will fit in your pocket or any instrument case. Size: 2"W x 3"H x 1/4"D. The screen displays the tempo with a black dot that swings from side to side with the beat and shows accenting of the beats on 2/4, 3/4, and 4/4. Tempos can be chosen from 40 to 250BPM in one-beat increments. The sound is a beep that can be turned off. The metronome is held upright with a stand that swings out from the back. Tempo markings are on the face. Watch-type battery and an instruction sheet are included. One year warranty.

Push adjustments stopped working after a while

| Review By: Doyle Dikes | 3 months, 3 weeks ago

Features:

Has basic features of a metronome.  Nice size, easy to understand panel.

Quality:

Battery lasts a long, long time.

Value:

The most inexpensive but is not adjustable after a while.

Overall:

The touch sensistive adjustments stopped working after a fewyears.  There are no real buttons, just plastic panel icons for sound, bpm, and time scale.  The adjustsments became increasing difficult to manipulate over time and eventually stopped worked at all.  Real inexpensive so can get by for a while but long term usage appears to be a problem.

Initially I was disappointing with this metronome. however I kept it around because its always nice to have one handy. I had the same problem with the unit resting ever time it was touched, however I replaced the battery and the problem fixed itself. This however is the only metronome I have found that will click silently. It has helped me numerous times while conducting, and performing, both alone and in a group.  Also, the tuning 440 note is a handy reference for all of us without perfect pitch.

The beeping is a little annoying-I don't think a pleasant metronome exists-but it does what a metronome is meant to do, keep time. I thought it was a little weird at first that you can't turn it off, but just turn the sound off and it's fine.

this thing is so annoying.  the day i got it in the mail and turned it on i realized 2 seconds later that it was a waste of money.  if they just actually made the sound a click like it says then i might have actually used it.  now I'm going to spend 10 more dollars to get a different one

Like the other reviews stated, this dumb little device resets to 100 bpm when slightly touched, and its very hard to press the buttons to turn the sound off, raise the bpm or change the time signature. And yes you can turn the sound off but not the device itself. Its been on for almost 2 and a half years now and hasnt died yet. It has an obnoxious beeping noise and I don't recomend it at all to any beginner student looking for a metronome or anyone at all looking for a metronome
