OVERVIEW

Hard hitters will love the sound and durability.

Smooth White Remo Emperor drum heads are warmer than Clear Emperors, with bigger mid range tones. Smooth White Emperors are quickly becoming one of REMO's most popular WeatherKing drum heads. They're made with two free-floating plies of 7.5-mil Mylar film, that gives consistent, open warm tones accounting for their popularity among many of today's studio and rock drummers.

Emperor X5-mil reverse black dot, which gives consistent focused warm tones which accounts for their popularity among many of today's hardest hitting rock drummers.

The Emperor X is the thickest snare head ever made by Remo. It was changed into a production item after more and more artists began
The thickest snare head ever made by Remo, Emperor X drumheads are the most durable Mylar heads in the world. They're made with two free-floating plies of 10-mil Mylar film with a ordering them as custom drumheads.

Mike Fasano (Warrant) who was the first to create the buzz about the new 20-mil head, loved the idea of a "snare head with this much attitude". He in turn got John Tempesta (Rob Zombie) and Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), Tre Cool (Green Day) and Travis Barker (The Transplants) hooked on the new head too, and the list continues to grow.

Comments about Remo Drum Head ProPack 12/13/16 Smooth Emperor with14" Emp X Snare Head:

When these arrived, I opened them expecting the 'Coated' Emperors we have always used on our Vintage Gretsch kit, saw they were "smooth" and thought about sending them back. So glad we didn't.
The tone of these Emperors is full and they look amazing, barely a trace of stick marks ... but what brought a smile to my face was the ease of tuning. Just brilliant, Remo.
And not just the ease of tuning, but the tonal range was a welcome surprise, too: tuned low, it made the floor tom rumble, tuning the smallest tom high brought out that "Great Gretsch Sound" and distinct musicality, and the Emporer X on our Ltd Edition Supraphonic? Ask the Neighbors.

These heads are the best choice

Comments about Remo Drum Head ProPack 12/13/16 Smooth Emperor with14" Emp X Snare Head:

I got these heads to replace my clear remo emperors. I was looking for variety in the sound of my toms. I like my 12 inch to have a high rich sound but i also like my floor toms to be tuned to a deeper sound. I didnt want to have to get two different types of heads so i picked these ones. and the choice was great. You get plenty of variety out of these heads and there very durable. I used them probably a little longer then i should of but they ended up lasting for about a half a year. When i changed them it wasnt because one broke i just needed too because they were a little warn. And i just got this same pack again.

Was always a Remo guy but had been using Evans for my snare and tom heads. Don't get me wrong, nothing bad about Evans I just prefer Remo.

The Best Drumheads you will ever come across!!

Comments about Remo Drum Head ProPack 12/13/16 Smooth Emperor with14" Emp X Snare Head:

The Remo emperor drumheads. Are the best drumheads ever in my opinion. They are a smooth, white, 2 ply, and thick weighted heads for heavy duty use. Any drummer that is a power drummer that is my reccomendation. I have the black dot emperor X on my 14"snare, and on my 10,12,13,16,and 18 inch toms. They create no annoying overtones and extra long ring. It makes a great deep focused tone. And they are very durable and lost a long time. You can't beat a price for excellent and strong drum heads. You must own it!

I purchased these heads to replace the factory heads on a name brand set that was given to me. I have played with remo heads for 21 yrs and still love them. These heads are awsome! I usually play with the pinstripes but decided to try something new. These heads made this cheap set sound professional. I would recommend these to anybody!!

Comments about Remo Drum Head ProPack 12/13/16 Smooth Emperor with14" Emp X Snare Head:

I love these heads. Ive been a Remo head guy for about 5 years, only using pinstripes on my toms, until a friend of mine told me about these smooth emperors. I threw em on my toms and was blown away. They really allow the toms to sing freely, as the pinstripes really deaden and don't allow for the full tonal qualities of the drum to resonate. I also love the Emperor X snare head. I beat the crap out of and it doesnt come out of tune or break, its an awesome kit all together.

Comments about Remo Drum Head ProPack 12/13/16 Smooth Emperor with14" Emp X Snare Head:

First off, I would like to say, I just bought all new heads. (batter & reso) Reso - Ambassador, besides my base drum. Batter - Emporers. Now to the point, my toms sound amazing, but then once I put my snare head on (Emporer X) I thought to myself "was this a good idea." (I like my snare to have a nice pop to it) But when I put the head on and I started cracking it, I couldn't get that pop out of it, it was too low. So then, I decided to put back my Evans St Dry head back on my snare and found that pop sound.... But overall I love the sound of the toms...
