The Road Runner Bass Guitar Case features a hardened, roadworthy molded shell; molded-in feet; and locking, riveted latch closures. On the inside, you'll find a plush-lined interior, an oversized accessory compartment, and a design that allows for various guitar shapes. An offset handle provides better balance for easy transportation. Roadrunner's goal is simple: their cases will keep your gear safe and secure.

Im a jazz student and this case is in my hand all day. my ibanez only weighs 7 pounds and the rim of this case sags and becomes disfigured... over all it has protected my bass through hell but roadrunner never designed this case to last.. i would go with the wood framed case just because it wont becomes disfigured and out of line.
As everything, the best goes away. My Ibanez SR505 sits nicely into the molded shape inside, and allows a separate pocket to carry accessories (and doesn't contact the guitar). As the other reviewer commented, I disagree with the case not being very durable. Untrue, unless you drop the case from your 2d story window to get it down...
Well, this case is a pretty good case. Not spectacular, but pretty good. It's shell is not the sturdiest or hardest, but seems sufficient. The shape accomodates my warwick corvette decently, and I'm sure it will accomodate a more traditional shaped bass perfectly. My Warwick doesn't move around inside as far as I can tell. One thing that could make this a little better is a cover for the accessory compartment, but overall, this is a good case.
