I've had the case for two years, though I didn't use it for anything but storage the first year. It's a different case, I'll give them that, because it's made of the polyfoam, but that doesn't make it amazing. My biggest complaint is the handle. If you're gonna make a softish case with only one handle, at least make it stay on! Furthermore, the Zipper's not made to last, as both of my zipper handles broke off quickly as well, so I had to attach key chains to the zipper bottoms to even get to my beloved guitar. The outside pockets, though inherently useful, are a bit small; especially the smaller of the two: what are you even supposed to put in that pocket?Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend this case to a friend.

I bought this polyfoam case to travel to our gigs. My hard cases are great but they're heavy to haul around all the time.
The only thing good that I can say about this case is that it is well built and light. That's where it ends.
I thought Road Runner was a good brand, and the price was right. But,as they say, "you get what you pay for." There's an inch of play all the way around a dreadnaught guitar. Without adding your own padding, your guitar would rattle around and eventually get damages.
I am returning this junk and buying another Gator. I have two Gator polyfoam cases and I know that they fit right and durable.
Musician's Friend should discontinue this case. I know that you need to offer less expensive alternatives, but this awful. Make sure that you let Road Runner know that the need to re-design the product.

Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
This is the best case for carring a guitar across a mile of campus. The foam makes it as safe as a hard case but as light as a gig bag. My Master built is all soild wood so I was worried about taking it to class and went with my Yamaha, now I take my Epi with out a worrie. My Yamaha came with the same type of case for five bones, at seven X notes this is a better case with more storage.

Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
When the product has been out of stock for more than four months, the person on the other end should recommend something that would be as good as the product ordered. BUT...that's not what happened. Four months later, the gift that was purchased was still out of stock and I called to cancel and decided to look in a book and order something that would be as good- myself. This could of been avoided if they knew their product better and cared about the customer.
The quality of the guitar case was good, but customer service is the worst I have seen it in years.
Musician's Friend needs to be better with their customer care.
The price was good.
Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
I just bought this case today at a local store. Anyway, I just put my guitar into it. It fits snuggly, with very little room to move around inside. The inside seems plenty soft enough to no scratch my guitar. If I were to drop the case while carrying it, I feel confident that the case would protect the guitar. For the money, you can't beat it. I was using just a gig bag, but dropped it a few weeks ago, while I was handing it to Jimmy Buffet to autograph. It damaged my guitar. I was, let's just say, aggravated. Wish I had bought this case before that endeavor. Bottom line, if you want a good case, but don't want to spend a ton, you have just found it.

Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
This case would rate "5" all-around IF the handle hadn't come off. The handle screws won't hold in the poly foam long-term due weight of the guitar causing the screw holes to strip out.A case needs to offer LOTS of protection for your guitar if its handle falls off and the case bounces off the pavement. Wall anchor screws eventually solve the handle problem quite nicely, but this is a design issue that should have been addressed before marketing the case.
Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
thought it was cool then saw the price tag and thought hey thats a sweet deal so i bought one, its held up pretty well, ive had it about 3 months, so overall, good case, good fit, i recomend it to anybody looking for a light case, that protects their baby.
Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
I own a few acoustic cases and this one works just as well as my other, more expensive HARD SHELL cases. The only con is the zip to open and close feature. Other than that I love it. For the price you can't beat it. It has actually stood up better to touring and to road rash than my other hard cases.
Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
I bought this case at my local guitar shop, and i was very displeased at the fact that the handle detached from the case itself. The bad, besides the handle, smelled terrible and was made cheaply.I'll never go to road runner again.
Comments about Road Runner Polyfoam Acoustic Guitar Case:
PRO: Overall, very happy with this case. Light as a feather, but protects the instrument well, no worries when I have had to gate check it for a flight. Good deal for the price. CON: The zippers are made of the chintziest metal on the planet. Wish the outside pockets were a bit deeper. Have to tighten the carrying handle after every tour, so it doesn't fall off.
