I've had other carts but this one is BY FAR the best there is. My whole band is switching over to these. We play about 200 dates a year and it hasn't failed me yet..........don't waste your time with anything else. Get this now!!!!

Almost perfect cart. Two laws I found, front wheels are no to 100% ... 1)you'll want to tighten with a wrench every couple of gigs to make sure they're in place. 2) If you want to haul stuff up curnbs and one-step doors ... the slider is great but you gotta get the front end up .. I bought a 5 ft. rope at Home Depot and use that to lift the cart from the top and pull over the step. Much easier than stooping down and trying to lift!

The Rock n Roller R8 has a lot of great features, but it has a few flaws. When I went to put on the front casters, I was surprised to find that one of the bolts had been double threaded...it had 2 starting points. I ended up re-threading the bolt and using a different nut because it would have been impossible to put the included nut on the double threaded bolt. So check that if you buy this cart. I would recommend it even though I had trouble because it's still a good cart once you get it together!

You can carry a five piece drumset with all the hardware at once. It is easy to change configurations. It is sometimes difficult to give direction when it is fully loaded, but I still recommend this cart. It is a little bit heavy, but to be able to carry 500 lbs, it has to be. I checked some other carts at home improvement stores, they were cheaper, but also harder to use, heavier and cruder.

Bought an RocknRoller R8 about 2 months ago. Awesome!! I'm a keyboard player and this ingenious cart moves everything in one load. It also changes into about 8 configurations so long keyboards can hang off the back or shorten for small items. It also folds up really fast and small to fit in my car. I can now set up and break down about 3 times as fast as before. My only complaint is that the bass player keeps borrowing it.

Over the years I have owned 5 carts. The original ones were great however, the new ones have plastic rims on the wheels that fail and the welds on the front casters failed twice on me while on a gig. I did not exceed the weight ratings and this never happened on the original versions.
