This stand is perfect for me. Right now I have 2 acoustics, 1 bass, 1 electric, and a banjo on it. I had another acoustic on it, but it got a little crowded. It can be done though. You just have to be careful. I have the square tube model which assembled fairly easily. The foam pads get compressed after a while so that could be improved. Right now its adequate for my use. The guitars actually rest at an angle, so the stand has to be off the wall about 5-6 inches, especially for a bass. For me this is a bonus because I have room for some ukuleles and a lap steel guitar behind the stand. Before I bought this stand, I had instruments spread around every wall of my apartment. Now most of my axes fit in a space of about 4 feet. If you're concerned about the pads on this model not being protective enough, then maybe consider buying a more expensive "guitar case" type stand. For me, this does the job.

Having purchased, and been pleased with, a Rockstand multi-stand in the past, I ordered this expecting the same level of quality, rugged construction, and gig-tested durability. Apparently that no longer applies to these stands. Flimsy materials, corner-cutting design features, and the absolute inability to stand up to any kind of gigging make this, in my opinion, nearly unusable. It began to fall apart almost immediately. The upright support to mine doesn't even lean far enough back to firmly support a guitar, so I don't even like to use it at home. I really wanted to go to the company's website to speak my piece, but I don't speak German, so here we are. I'm not a hard guy to please, and this is the first negative review I've ever felt compelled to write on anything, so take that for what it's worth. Try harder, Warwick...a lot harder.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 7-Guitar Folding Stand:

The item pictured is not the item you will receive. Besides that fact, it does what its supposed to.
As other reviewers have mentioned, one needs to be careful when putting down the guitar so it wont "twist" and hit the one next to it.
I am happy with this item, but I wished I had known what I was *really* getting. Other vendors have the item that you will actually get for less money.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 7-Guitar Folding Stand:

I have one of the older 7-guitar Warwick Rockstands and I love it. I have many guitars in my studio so I purchased another stand.

When it arrived, I noticed right away that this design was different -- it did not have the solid rounded rectangular padded piece anymore, just two padded bars. So that bothered me right away that it did not match my other stand, and did not match the photo on-line.

I put it together and placed a guitar on it and was immediately uncomfortable with leaving it there. The guitars on these new stands sit way too upright, so there is less weight holding the neck against the upper support.

I took it all apart again and returned it for a refund.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 7-Guitar Folding Stand:

I don't usually do reviews but this deserves one. I will admit that I may have received a lemon, but this thing is ridiculous! The holes were not drilled to the size of the screws so I had to do that myself. Then when I got that done, the screws would not hold the upper part of the stand tight enough. I know it is supposed to fold over but not under it's own weight! Worst investment I have ever made for musical gear. And I mean ever!!

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 7-Guitar Folding Stand:

I bought this for my home guitar room, to hold seven guitars. There is nothing really wrong with the stand. I mean you can fit seven guitars on it, but they are so close together you must be very careful not to knock them together when lifting in and out. Now consider this: I also own the Hercules 5-guitar stand, which costs a little more, but is far superior in build, quality and design. It is about 6 inches longer then this 7-guitar stand, and can fit as-advertised 5 acoustic or combination of guitars with comfort. The way the guitars fit in the Hercules is much better, due to the neck-holder and the bottom dividers. If you want to store more electrics on the Hercules, they sell extra neck-holder & divider sets as shown on the box (although I don't think MF carries them). The Hercules requires no assembly, and also folds down. So in summary, this is not a bad stand at all, but I wish I would have just gotten another Hercules.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 7-Guitar Folding Stand:

I am very pleased with this stand. Got it on a special, so it was a great deal. Instructions for assembly were horrible. I am a visually oriented person anyway. My suggestion, do not tighten anything down until it is all put together. Go over it and tighten it down again, especially the bottom rails, because the foam will squish, and the screws will become loose. This is the newer version, I think its secure. These stands do not really have dividers for acoustic guitars, so extra care setting them in and taking them out is key to not banging them together. Folds up and is light weight to transport.

I found this 7 guitar folding stand to be everything I'd hoped for. It was quick and simple to assemble and and offers a very practical solution to safely storing guitars for easy access. It is very study, attractive and compact. My wife is delighted to have her dining room back now that all of my instruments are neatly set off to one corner of the room.

Comments about RockStand by Warwick 7-Guitar Folding Stand:

Someone was talking about how "thin" and "questionable" this stand is. The only thing I can say to that is "oh brother". Seriously. The frame consists of steel bars, about 1" in diameter, and the foam brings the total diameter up to about 2" (though after a short time, the guitars will make impressions on the foam). I can't understand where one would get the notion that this is a cheap flemsy piece of equipment. You'd have to treat it pretty poorly, I suppose. It's sturdy enough that you don't have to give it "special care". Just don't throw it around. Really, you just have to know how to treat your equpiment. It's fine for me, and I'll be using it both in my studio, and on the road. I have total confidence in it.What I do have to say about it, on the other side, is that it was a little more time consuming to assemble than I had hoped, and the guitars seem somewhat crowded, at first. On the plus side, you're going to save an incredible amount of space. I can't stress that enough. This rack does very nicely on conserving space, especially if you have a small performing area or project studio. I hope this helped in some way.
