First timer using a battery source to power my pedal board and I cannot stress enough how much I ENJOY the idea of not worrying about finding an outlet to run an extension cord from my pedal board to power my pedals... now all I do is hit a button and VOILA she's ready to rock!
The freedom is wonderful... just one cable to my amp and I'm good to go!
Pedal juice is a God send... wish I had this 10 years ago!

Would not buy it again, simply fails by making your rig noisy. If Sanyo would have been cool about helping I would reconsider but they were a bit rude and said that I was out of warranty with no regard for customer service.

I gigged it once and only took it to my band jam sessions once per week for a year. So it did not get abused, simply a bad product, TWICE.
Pretty simple, it's supposed to power your pedals... think of it like a Daisy Chain without having to plug it into an outlet.
I have had 2 and both failed the same way... since they faile 14 months after I bought them, Sanyo will not replace the unit. It causes A LOT of noise in my chain.

I repeat, 2, I have them a change with an exchange and now they both have failed... I ran 4 pedals with it and only 2 were on at any given time, so my load was pretty low. Waste of money. Sad, because I love the convinience but the noise is ridiculous.
If I have to buy one every 14 months it's not worth it, I'd rather buy $150 of 9v Batteries that will last me way more than 14 months.

Again, we'll see how well it lasts over the year/years, but so far the product has performed as advertised. Its a real convenience to not have to change batteries nor run power to stage front for gigs.
Wish i had invented this. For a gigging musician, not having to run power to the front of the stage to power a pedal board is a huge convenience. I run a tuner, 2 blues drivers, a wah, and tremelo off the device. It can get me through 3 gigs before needing a recharge. It also hold is charge extremely well when turned off.
So far, very solid. I've been using for about 3 months, no noticeable difference yet in battery/charge life. Is in a solid package and works every time.
Huge value if you're gigging often and want the convenience of not needing to power your board with yet another extension cord.

Wanted something to power my Digitech Jamman and Rp355. The Pedal Juice will not work for these devices, at least not right out of the box. I have tried to get some support to see if there's a "workaround", but I?m still waiting for a response from Sanyo. The worst regret is that I did not buy it from Musician's Friend, which is not like me. Instead I saved a couple of bucks and bought it new from ebay BIG MISTAKE. I hope this helps someone else

I play super lush soundscapes - a very full sound that needs a ton of gear to make it work right.Which is why I'm so glad I discovered Pedal Juice - it runs everything just like I have brand new 9volts out of the package. It's also really nice to have a very clear indicator of power left - the light on the unit that changes color gives me peace of mine when I play.

My GF got me one of these for V-day. Had a resturant gig and brought it with me - brought 9volts too just incase. I played 3 forty minutes sets and the Pedal Juice baredly turned yellow. Sound was clean too. It's pretty cool.

I can't believe no one else invented this before. This is great. One charge lasts a couple of long gigs. No noise. Fairly compact, I just wish they added a couple of daisy chains to it to power more pedals. But, I use it on a fuzz, wireless, and reverb and lasts all night. My harmonizer uses a different energy source. No surprise, I guess. But, would make a great small pedal power supply and will set up in moments. This thing is great!

Just got this - a little Christmas treat for myself.It runs a small amp and the pedals I want in the portable setup I use for busking - no more 9volts!I play for hours on one charge. It's small, light, easy to use. I play out alot, so it'll pay for itself by the time I get the credit card bill.
