Awesome Tone From A Transducer

Comments about Shadow SH 980 Archtop Guitar Ebony Bridge with Piezo Pickup:

I own the Shadow SH 980 Archtop Piezo Pickup, I use it on an old EKO archtop that only has a neck pickup installed, so I can blend more high end harmonics into the mix. It also is great to use with an electric archtop guitar like the Kingpin, and then you can get a really good stereo effect by panning each one to its own side. It seems kind of pricey compared to some other less expensive piezo pickups, but this is one you'll never need to replace or regret owning. I really like the fact its very easy to install with the double back tape, you just mount the jack on the tail, but you can also make it a permanent installation if you want to pay the extra dollars to a local guitar tech.Thank you, Guitar Bum Drew
