I got this & Akai KCF1. Cons: beeps loudly, somewhat limited in chords. Pros. Doesn't need directions. Easy to use. Easy to read screen. Easy to press tabs. See my review of th Akai. This is a great deal. I tried putting sealant in the holes to shut it up. Didn't help.

The ad speaks the truth. Punch in the chord by name and there it is. Fairly easy to read and inversions will speed up playing the correct chord. Good overall value for the amateur, professional or composer. Allen, TX.

this thing's a cheap plastic toy!

wow, VERY cheap in both look and feel (the picture makes it look better than it really is). the battery cover doesn't even "click" into place! but anyway, it does what it says it does. having a chord you want displayed at the touch of a button really is nicer than having to thumb through pages from your favorite chord book, but price is a little steep for something like this. if i ever lost this thing, i most definately wouldn't buy one to replace it.
