I just got this tuner today and I am a little disappointed, it is a quality tuner and is put together well, the only thing about it that is a little frustrating is that you have to be pretty close to being in tune already before you put this thing on your guitar. It has to be able to identify the string initially in order to be able to bring it to the correct pitch. You cant just throw a new set of strings on and then hook up the tuner and magically be in tune. You have to be close already. Once it does find the correct string it will tune it correctly. It just takes time time to get it there.

Interesting device but the design is less than perfect. Ability to sense proper string pitch limited. Better for Fender style pegheads (all on one side) than for Gibson style - the controls face away from the player on the treble side. It took me longer to use this device than to do it myself with a standard peg winder and tuner. I thought it would be useful for upcoming recording sessions with many guitars to re-string but did not use it as I thought I would. A little disappointing but no doubt really useful for novices.

I have this tuner and it worked well for about a month, then it went crazy. When tuning, it would take off and start turning the string and could not be controlled. Tried new batteries and it was to no avail. It is also, clumsey. I now have 2 chromatic clip on tuners and have been very pleased with them. They are inexpensive and accurate.

This is hands down the best tuner I have ever used. I wish this tuner was around when I first started playing. I would have been a much better player. I can't believe how well it tunes my guitar. My other tuners just don't get my guitar in tune like this. I'm amazed. I give it my highest recommendation.

This thing is amazing. just plug it into your guitar and hit the string bunch of time and it does the rest. Couldn't have asked for a bettering tuner. A must for any guitar
Easy to use, plug it into your guitar and bam, it does the rest.
I would have paid 3x more for this as great as it works. Great value.

I really like this product. I've had it for almost a year now. Like I stated before about waiting to see how well it worked, well it works fine now. I use mine on manual mode. You do have to be almost in tune for it to work though- other than that, it's a great product.

Just got this today and let me tell you it WORKS perfectly, yea some of the other reviews said you have to be close to being in tune but if you read the instructions it tells you that, but you can place it in manual mode and just listen to get the string close and then just put it back into auto mode and your in tune perfectly, great product, WIN!!!!!!!!

I bought my Tunermatic a few months ago, and at first, I didn't like it - It wouldn't work! It had a mind of its own even though I put a new battery in it. A few days later, I decided to give it another try before I returned it. I installed another new battery in it and it works fine now. Now I have to just wait and see.

I have owned at least 50 tuners in my life. This thing is hands down the best one I have ever had. Ridiculously easy to use, amazingly accurate and it tunes the guitar for me. What else do you want in a tuner?

This is absolutely the best tuner I have ever used. In the automatic mode it tunes my guitar perfect and fast. When I put it in the manual mode I can put on a new set of strings and it will wind them until they are perfectly tuned. I can?t believe how great this thing works. It?s light years ahead of any other tuner.

I've had this tuner for over 3 years I change all of my 6 guitar strings 3 X's a year wit this little baby - [ I clean up the guitars, polish em. ] and I've only changed the battery in this once - After the first time the battery died on my GUILD I got the idea to use one of those A/C 9 volt adaptors - the polarity is preset and I just plug it into a standard A/C outlet - the power is constant - energy brown-outs to screw with the on-board micro chop - NEVER A BROKEN string. Try it you'll like it.the tuner is preety slow - but it's blessedly accurate, and it makes it easier to keep the string moving perfectly around the tuning peg.
