With 25 guitars in my music room ( sits above a 3 car garage ) I was running out of room with the bigger ( albeit nicer ) Hercules 5 and 3 guitar racks even with the additional spacers. These take up much less room and as you can see in the photo - 2 of these with 6 guitars each take up only about the space of one of the Hercules guitar stands. I like the Hercules ones better as you can keep your guitar straps and whammy bars on them due to their larger size, but I was just out of room. Since they are so compact, if you care about your guitars, you'll probably not want to keep the strap(s) and whammy bars on them on the rack.

Warning!

Do not put your nitro finished guitars on this stand! After just a couple days my Gibson guitars had hazing or marks where they were in contact with the rubber tubing.

Comments about String Swing Side-Loading Inline Guitar Rack:

The Guitar Rack is very convenient to keep my Guitars out and on the stand. I have found that if i put them away in their cases, i seem to always find a reason to put off practice.

Comments about String Swing Side-Loading Inline Guitar Rack:

This is a great little guitar rack. It's stable and holds 2 electric and 2 acoustic guitars. Assembly was easy.
My only complaint with the assembly was I was missing one screw needed for the last step of the installation. This is a critical piece since it keeps the unit from folding. It also does not have a pre-drilled hole for the last step. It wasn't much of a problem for me since I had extra screws in my work shop and had a drill and drill bit handy, but I can see where it would be a pain for someone who didn't have things like that readily available.

Comments about String Swing Side-Loading Inline Guitar Rack:

Bought this thing to save space and it ended up taking up more space than 3 single guitar stands.

The big problem is that the guitars really sit almost flat, which if you look at the picture they sit almost upright, that is just not the case.

Very handsome piece. Had it assembled in less than an hour. Wide enough for 5 electric guitars and 1 acoustic. Very stable and portable.

Its probably better for electrics, my acoustics are a little crowded in it, but it holds most of them.

Although I had a little trouble assembling this stand due to somewhat vague assembly instructions, once I got it put together I was very pleased. Looks great, compact, and easily holds five electric guitars.

Comments about String Swing Side-Loading Inline Guitar Rack:

I put this thing together fine until I got to the last step in the instructions. You are supposed to screw in a Phillips head screw as the final step, but there is no hole to screw it in as shown in the instructions. I had to buy the correct drill bit to drill the hole. This one screw is the only thing that keeps the whole unit from folding up and collapsing. Very weak and unstable. I wouldn't trust this thing to not fall apart and ruin my guitars. DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!
