The next generation of polyphonic tuning is already here.

The PolyTune Mini from TC Electronic is the world’s smallest polyphonic tuner. PolyTune Mini shows you the tuning state of all strings simultaneously by simply strumming your guitar, allowing you to get back to playing in a matter of seconds. Among the most precise tuners in the world, tuning with +/- 0.5 cent precision in chromatic mode and +/- 1 cent accuracy in polyphonic mode.

PolyTune Mini also features Drop-D and Capo modes as well as True Bypass for zero tone coloration and a super-bright LED display.

PolyTune Mini – Tiny Meets Awesome
Tuning used to be a necessary evil. The last barrier before you could get truly rocking. But now, tuning is ready to get blasted into the 21st century with PolyTune Mini. The original PolyTune was the world's first polyphonic tuner - a multiple patents pending, game-changer that will have future guitarists wondering how we ever got by without it.

Fever Pitch
PolyTune is extremely flexible as well. The reference pitch can be set to your preference and ranges from 435Hz to 445Hz. This guarantees you'll be able to play along with anyone, with any instrument and in any situation.

Chromatic Champion
Besides the Polyphonic tuner, PolyTune Mini has a chromatic tuner that can hang with the best current tuning technology out there, with an amazing 0.5 cent accuracy. The PolyTune Mini features two separate chromatic tuning modes, which cater to your individual preferences, and needs. Needle mode is for those that are used to the classic view on a tuner. If you want a little more real-time information, TC Electronic included stream-mode, which measures even the slightest pitch variation and instantly feeds the info back to you via a rotating motion on the display.

Tuning Magnet
Key to both these great chromatic modes is an ultra-fast and precise response, which is achieved through the use of the unique tuner magnet feature. This slows down the needle once you get close to the desired pitch, making it much easier to get the job done quickly.

MonoPoly
Whether you want to use the polyphonic tuner to get in tune, or prefer to go the chromatic route, this pedal has you covered. PolyTune Mini features "MonoPoly", a jaw-dropping new technology that recognizes whether you play one or more strings and instantly replies with the appropriate tuning mode.

Total Recall
The PolyTune Mini stores your preferences. It hangs on to this information even after it is powered down, making sure you only have to set how you want things to happen once.

This is the one ladies and gentleman! but really, i've gone through dozens of floor stomp tuners. this beats the boss tuner by miles! you can see the display in beaming sunlight, and the polytune feature is very convenient when you only have 3 or 5 seconds in between songs; gives you a quick look into what you need to tune on the fly! highly recommended! Don't let the small size deter you! so lovely

First I'll address the biggest "issue" that people mention with these pedals, the display. The display works just fine and it is really easy to see. I actually like it better than my boss tu2. The display is very clear and eary to understand, i'd dare say that it gives me a better tune than my boss. Yes, all of this when I am standing. Blaming any unclearity of this display becuase of your bad eyes or old age is like blaming a book for you being unable to read it because you're vision isn't good or becuase your getting old. If this display is subpar then the telephones that old ladies use with the big numbers shouse be the standard for all phones and oversized print the standard for all books.

Second my issue with this pedal is unfortunetly one of it's selling points, the true bypass. When i engage and disengage this pedal it sometimes lets out a BIG pop. You know, the kind of pop that sound techs HATE when newbs unplug their stuff from an unmuted system. Part of this popping was due to a tube preamp/di i was using for my acoustic but it also does it with my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe (straight in or through boss comp, ts9, and joyo tremooo) and doesn't agree with my a/b selector at all. The reality is that at the end of the day I need to be paid and I need to leave a good impression with venues so that i am invited back and can even play elsewhere (not pissing them off by popping in their system.) If it is really fickle with my gear and messes with peoples systems (my boss doesn't) I am forced to use the buffered pedal that works.

This is my experience, i really want to love this pedal, it looks awesome saves space and like i said, i LOVE the display but this pedal needs to simply work.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Mini Chromatic Tuner:

I've had two problems with this tuner:

        1. It sometimes seems to lose calibration. On more than one ocassion, I've had it tell me the tuning was perfect when it wasn't - the D chord does not lie. Once I tuned the upper strings by ear, I was okay. It has happened with more than one guitar. I never had that problem with my Korg DT-10.

        2. It makes a buzzing noise when I am using it and have the drive channel on the amp. This happens with every guitar and every amp I have tried it on. It isn't noticeable on the clean channel.

Bottom line: I am diggin out the old Korg, even if it does take up more room on the board.

Acurate-Solid Box-Small Footprint. I just grab this if I am going to a gig, to a few jammer friends or my family get together. No problem just pocketing this guy and bringing along. You don't even need a tool-bar, I use a velcro strap on my leg-arm, whatever, just like a pilot, a quick glance at this light weight box in chromatic mode and no-one ever see's me tune to perfect pitch. Maybe a wireless model next.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Mini Chromatic Tuner:

Tuning all six strings at once is more efficient...I like that part. What I don't like is the display. The screen is made up of many small dots. If you are flat it shows bright red, if you are close to in tune, it shows dim red and dim green. As you get more in tune, it shows bright green. As a result (when it is showing dim read and dim green for one string), it looks blurry sometimes. I found it difficult to read from a standing position. I don't have perfect vision, but I think the dots are really too small. A tool like this should be easier to read fomr a standing position.

                Great little box

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Mini Chromatic Tuner:

Tiny size, excellent performance, small price. What's not to like? Also nicely built and easy to use, seems very accurate. Has several features that I don't need, so I can't tell you how good they may be. As a basic tuner, it's easy right out of the box. At a recent outdoor gig it was difficult, but not impossible, to see the display in bright direct. Other than that sunlight, totaly fin. Buy it.

                Its not a "bad" tuner

Problem #1 - only works in Silent By-Pass ModeYou cant monitor your tuning while playing

Individual string tuning - I give it a 6 out of 10 - My Korg Rack Tuner is much more accurate and faster... my Snarks rate a 10 out of 10 - go with the Snark!

Multi String tuning - Im not going to keep this tuner long enough for it to be clearly understandable

Problem #2 - Im color blind - the color differences are too difficult to decipher from a distance

It is well built and I am definitely a fan of TC, just not this product!
