OVERVIEW

A set of revolutionary, supple and afforable drum grips to ensure a drummer can hold onto his sticks in any environment.

Gig Grips drumstick grips save you from the slipped sticks that come from sweaty hands. No need for clumsy gloves, tacky wax or uncomfortable tape. Just grip your sticks normally and play. Gig Grips are the COOL alternative to these older, less effective, drumstick grip solutions.

The patented design grips the drumsticks hard while slipping smoothly over any finger or thumb to suit any style of drumming. Gig Grips don't grip your finger, just the drumstick. You can play for hours with less fatigue and strain using Gig Grips by playing confidently with a looser drumstick grip.

Simply slip each Gig Grip hole over the butt end of the drumstick and slide along until near your normal grip position. Adjust each end in or out until the Gig Grip forms the right size of hole for comfort. You can use any finger or thumb with Gig Grips. If you've not tried Gig Grips Drumstick Grips before, try your middle finger. You can play with the Gig Grips before or beyond your knuckle, depending on your preference.

If you suffer from slippage, dropped sticks, blistered hands and general pain from over gripping your sticks, this product is here to save you!

Having played drums for 40 years, the "wear and tear" on my hands has been considerable and the development of pain and stiffness in my forearms and thumbs was becoming a real problem to my career.

Having had professional medical help which has subdued the problem, the most significant improvement came when I started using Gig Grips. This simple accessory allows the drummer to completely relax the grip on the stick and slippage, dropped sticks and blistered hands become a distant memory.

Over-gripping can also be caused by the tendency to grip harder as sticks start to slip whilst playing. This happens mostly during gigs where sweaty conditions and the pressure of performance combine. Over time, tension combined with the impact of hitting drums can lead to career-limiting injuries. The idea behind Gig Grips is to help by enabling drummers to play with a more relaxed and natural grip, reducing muscle tension, vibrations and impact shock.

They take a little getting used to, but "stick" with it! They really do improve your playing simply because you get 100% concentration on your playing without the distraction (and annoyance) of slipping or thrown sticks. A small investment could give you big results, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Coated sticks and stick wraps are expensive. I hoped that these stick grips would work for me, but... I tend to play with my fingers and these stick grips completely interfered with my finger dexterity. No matter how many ways I tried to alter the placement, I could not play with them.

Very easy to use comfortable allows for a looser grip less hand fatigue a must have for carpel tunnel suffers. I was throwing sticks dropping them mid song even with grip tape. But not anymore I will not play with out them. A must have for me.

Comments about The Duallist Gig Grips Drumstick Grips:

I have had problems with hand and arm injuries for a long time and I had tried many different grip tapes, waxes, special sticks and this by far is the best thing I found that helps grip the drum stick. In fact you barely have to grip at all saving my hands and arms in those long performances.

Comments about The Duallist Gig Grips Drumstick Grips:

I have played drums since the age of 4. I'm now 45 and still bashing the skins - my body has been wracked over the years: knee problems, elbow joints, torn ligaments, carpal tunnel, shoulder issues. I've had to quit a band (read as; bye bye income). I see a physical therapist and chiropractor to keep going.

After getting my shoulder use back, I started having hand cramps and numbness in my thumb and first 3 fingers. We all know what that means - the dreaded carpal tunnel curse. Certain death for a drummer. I learned that I DIDN'T have ct, I had an alignment problem with my shoulder and elbow. Regardless of the reason, I couldn't hold onto my sticks. I felt like an idiot, losing a stick just playing a simple hihat groove. Embarassing at the least - a sure way to lose a gig at worst.

I've tried gloves, tape, rubber dip, wax, gorilla snot - everything either didn't work or greatly hampered my playing. I tried Gig Grips on a whim. Guess what? IT FRICKIN' WORKED! I've used them on rock gigs, country gigs and jazz gigs - even with 3 different stick sizes - different techniques - what relief!

I've noticed fuller tone from my toms and cymbals. I barely have to hang on to my stick and sometimes play with an open hand! I can spin my sticks around while playing a groove and other drummers ask how I did that (the Gig Grips are semi-flesh toned)! My side stick is at least double the volume because I can flatten my hand and NOT TOUCH THE DRUM HEAD! Great for country and jazz gigs.

Basically this invention has not only saved my career, the have fired my creativity!

I'd love to meet the inventor in person so I can give them the proper thanks they have earned. I tell every drummer (and other musicians) I meet about Gig Grips.
They have saved my studio and house from being lost to reduced income. If I sound ridiculously over the top it's because I got my life back. Thank you thank you thank you!,,

Comments about The Duallist Gig Grips Drumstick Grips:

These Gig Grips are a very simple solution to a big problem. I no longer drop sticks during a performance. They are very comfortable. Within a few minutes of wearing them for the first time, I could hardly tell they were there. They also allow me to loosen my grip so there is less fatigue during long sets. Great simple product. I wish I had thought of it.

Comments about The Duallist Gig Grips Drumstick Grips:

I immediately noticed how relaxed my grip became and how I was using more of the stick's natural rebound. As such my rhythms flowed out smoother. Yes, it took some minor tweaking on my technique, but the pay off has been worth it.

So is this cheating? I have always felt you should drum in a way that does not injure yourself or damage your drums/cymbals. These certainly help with that. And let's face it: a drum set is a mechanical "con'trap'tion" that enables us to play the parts of several drummers. We've been "cheating" all along! So whatever works!
