I was uncertain about buying this case because there seemed to be some mixed reviews on fit for a squareneck dobro. I called MF and they were a great help. Spoke with someone who knew the product and was pretty sure there was enough flexibility to accommodate a squareneck.
Case arrived in a few days. My Gold Tone Paul Beard dobro is a great fit. There is even a slot in the foam to allow the end pin to slide down. I had to debate whether to remove some of the pads to fit the squareneck, which would have been easy to do. But they are glued rather than velcroed, so a removal woud require re-gluing. As it is, I left all the pads on. The neck rest crushed easily to accommodate the squareneck. The instrument fits so snugly I can barely slip my strap around the edge. Good size accessory box.
Zipped it back up, snapped the clasp. Wow. It is so well ballanced that I barely feel the weight of the resonator. It feels solid and secure. No shifting around in the case.
Great case. I highly recommend it for a resonator, squareneck or round. And I would recommend a Travelite Lightweight for any instrument.

Comments about Travelite Lightweight Resphonic Classic/Dobro Guitar Case:
Bought this for my new Gretsch 9220 Bobtail roundneck A/E resonator. Perfect fit, no wiggle room, good padding and protection. The three way security is great, too. There's a zipper, a velcro latch and a locking catch. The interior is nicely lined, has a built-in hygrometer, and roomy storage box. The case is light weight and well-balanced = carries very easily.

I had to remove some pieces so my squareneck would fit. Other that that is just what I wanted.

Comments about Travelite Lightweight Resphonic Classic/Dobro Guitar Case:
Finding a case for a resonator can be a 'frustrating' experience! I finally purchased this case for my Fender FR-50. The guitar just fits. The lenght and depth is good.... the upper bout fits good....the lower bout is where it just makes it in the case! The case has a storage area, extra carry straps and a humidity gauge. The case is made in China and has very nice fit and finish. It's not a $big buck$ 'Hardshell'.....but I couldn't find one that this guitar would safely fit in. So....if you have a Fender FR-50.....I strongly recommend this case! The case is light weight and appears to be durable enough for protecting and transporting the instrument safely.
Comments about Travelite Lightweight Resphonic Classic/Dobro Guitar Case:
Purchased the case to go with my new Fender FR-50 Resonator Guitar.
This case offers superior protection with thick foam padding(extremely thick).
It also had an unexpected surprise when I opened the case, a built-in Hydrometer on the storage compartment cover.
This case offers the best protection of any case I've ever owned and I've been playing over 30 years.
Well worth the price.
