I carry my P90 in this case. It's semi rigid, meaning it's a nylon exterior with super thick padding inside and can stand up against a wall without collapsing.First, if you own a P80/P90, you have to have a GOOD case. That investment is worth too much not to have it protected at all times. If you have to load your piano into a truck of trailer with the possibility of it being placed beneath other items, you'll need a solid case. Otherwise, ditch the extra weight. That piano's heavy enough! This case adds almost nothing to the weight. There are actually THREE pockets on the outside. Two gusseted "bulk" pockets on the extreme left and right, and one flat but wide pocket in the center. I'm able to slip a sheet music stand into the middle pocket and it's got to be over 20" wide. The other pockets are good for holding the sustain pedal, AC adapter, patch cables, clips, etc. Don't worry, there is a 2" thick pad between those pockets and your board. The padding is a soft, t-shirt like material. It fits around my P90 like a glove. It is Velcro'd to the inside of the case.My only beef - wish the case was wheeled. That would be a huge plus for toting around your 37 lb. piano. Minor beef: the zipper is at times a bit resistant to make the "corners" around the bag. Not much you can do about that. Just thought I'd sound off.Overall, a great case, a solid investment.
