I have had diabetes for over 25 years. Within the last couple of years, I've noticed increased numbness in my right hand, especially towards the ends of my fingers. It had gotten to the point that I all but stopped playing guitar, because I could not hold the pick correctly. Then I found the Orbit pick by ZeroGravity. The tether allows me to hold the pick correctly for long periods of time while strumming my acoustic guitar. Diabetes has robbed me of many of the pleasures I used to enjoy, but thanks to the Orbit, playing my guitar is not one of them.

may be of some use to those who have zero ability to hold a pick... but it could be soooooo soooooo much better. I bought it thinking I could easily switch from fingering my bass to picking and back. the "pick" wears out in less than an hour of playing. looks like my idea for this pick FAILed. I'm not upset I'm only out a few bucks... just sad that it wasn't what I thought it could be.
Features... what somewhat looks like a pick molded to some cheap flimsy rubber.
cheap. cheap, flimsy rubber. not what it looks like in the BIG picture. is much smaller than it seems.
This for one single, crappy pick. it's not green either. its red.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
I've only have had these for a few days and so far I'm happy with them. So when I get better at playing the guitar and playing in the praise band at our church I will continue using them.My finger twitches at times and makes it hard to hold on to a pick. so I find this pick very helpful

Cons

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
I've broken the thumb on my picking hand a few times. This pick, the red one, did make pick control much finer. My advise to Orbit is to outsource this product to Dunlop. The pick material is far to soft. You might get two sets if you play hard. Also, the claim that it can be used with both hands is a bit misleading. The rubber mounting is biased for a rigth-handed player. I'll try mounting a better pick with Gorilla Glue. Otherwise, you may need 10 to 15 of these every month if you play every day.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
Wanted something to help with thumb cramps but this created a whole other issue. When strumming fast songs it would slide out towards the strings. Good idea and made well enough but once I noticed the problem I just went back to a normal pick.

Works well for my needs. A little pricey. A larger package for a better price would be appreciated. See what you can do as a friend to musicians about a better deal on these. Thankx

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
I purchased these for my husband. Because of poor range of motion in his wrist & hand due to an accident he has a hard time holding on to smooth picks. He finds that these help tremendously. This is the third time I have ordered them for him. We have not been able to find them else where.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
A number of years ago, I found that I could no longer hold a flatpick for long periods - my thumb muscle would cramp. I found this pick and have used it ever since - twice a week I conduct music therapy singalongs and must play for 45 minutes straight.
But the pick wears out fast, the sound is rather dull against the steel strings, and sometimes the tethers rip apart.
This is such a great idea - the green picks they used to make lasted a long time. The red are poor. I wish they would use a quality pick material that did not wear down or crack and that sounded better.
But, I need them, so I just bought 10 packs.

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
I have peripheral neuropathy resulting from diabetes. I have difficulty holding on to a conventional pick. They either rotate or I drop them due to lack of touch sensation. I stumbled upon these on your web site and they have been a God-send. No more drops - No more turning. If you ever decide to quit stocking these, let me know and I'll buy up what you have.
Pros
- Easy To Use
- Functional
- Good Quality
Cons
- Only one thickness

Comments about ZeroGravity Orbit Guitar Pick:
I always have trouble with picks wiggling out of my fingers when strumming fast or hard. This pick helps with that issue. With some practice, it can also be used to switch between strumming and finger picking. I wish more thicknesses were available.
