    Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

I have used this amp with both my electric bass and my upright bass, and it sounds great with both! I pair it with my Acoustic B300H head and the warm and round sound I get, especially from my lower strings, is a great surprise coming from a mini stack. Portable and easy to use, no doubt!

      Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

Easy to set up - had a good bass tone within a minute. Sounds good for a lower wattage amp. It would have been cool if Acoustic had made this a folded horn 10" like the original 18" folded horn cabinets instead of a front facing 10" cabinet (since there is only one speaker anyway). Might sound better too - I really liked the sound of the originals.
This was actually bought by me because of the way it looks. Being a functional bass amp is a bonus.

      Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

Just got it home from M F. Came W/ slight damage on carton & came thru to be a tiny scuff on back side of amp. Not sure it's worth the hassel to send back. Have to admit it was very hard to set up at first. I have 100w Fender bass amp w/4 band E Q (this has 3) but acoustic has 10 db pad button (nice) overdrive power knob, O D level knob and O D on/off button that are nice. No directions to help in setting these knobs but played around and @ 1st only seemed to have 3/4 the power of old Fender but with time had it drowning out Fender. Fender is very heavy (15") speaker and hard to transport. Acoustic only has 10" speaker so lighter and has roller castors (nice!!!!). At first not that happy with it but with a little playing around I have it sounding pretty decent for a 10" speaker so yeah, guess I'd recomend it for small places like my church.

        Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

I had been using a Peavy Minx with a 10' speaker, so when I first fired up this Acoustic, I was blown away by the great tone! That "horn" cab with one 10' is amazing!

          Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

Compact and lightweight. Controls: volume and 3-band EQ, nice and simple (I don't bother with the overdrive. What for?). The 100W output is enough for most gigs when I plug the head into my 1x15 cab.

            Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

I bought one of the originals (Mk1) back in April and I really was diggin it until it started cutting out. Acoustic has a 3 year warranty on their gear and Musicians Friend has a great return policy. I was surprised when I was told that I would be receiving the Mk2 upgrade as the Mk1's were no longer available. Awesome!

              Comments about Acoustic 260mkII 1x10 100W Bass Mini-Stack:

A good, honest, useful 100 watt amp. The tone controls do what they should. Don't forget the "SHAPE" button, it works too. Connect this amp to a bigger 4 ohm speaker cab and wonderful things happen. Small speaker cab = small sound, and sometimes that's exactly what I need. Or, tell the sound guy about the XLR direct out, and let his system get you loud. Either way, the low B on my 5 string bass sounds great. This little rig probably won't drown out the drummer, but you won't need gorilla roadies either. Also plays well with Strats, Pauls, & pedals. It has overdrive, ya know.
