Coming from a border line tone snob, one great amp is ready to be had with the Acoustic AG15. Makes my Breedloves happy. Use it for practice or use it as a stage pre-amp/monitor and run the direct line to your PA. The quality is close to PRO level. Have played amps that cost five times the price and went back to the AG15. Took the front grille off and found a very high quality speaker and tweeter. Amazed out the bang for the buck on this one. If you need a few more watts, grab the 30 watt version. Way to go ACOUSTIC. Customer for life and (MUSICIANS FRIEND RULES THE ONLINE GEAR GAME - WON'T BUY ANYWHERE ELSE !). Happy playing my friends.

Disclaimer--I have owned this amp for only three days, I am not primarily an acoustic player, I have tried this amp with just one guitar (a Taylor 210 with a Dean Markley Pro Mag pickup), and this Acoustic AG15 is the first acoustic guitar amp (and first Acoustic guitar amp) that I have owned. It is NOT a loud amp. If you play with a drummer, if you play big rooms or to crowds larger than ten or so people, you will need to use the line out and route your signal to the PA. To my ears, the Chorus effect does nothing except boost the volume. The Chorus knob does nothing at all. I like the tone of this amp.

Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
When you read these product reviews, remember to take into consideration the price of the product. You're looking at an amplifier at a great price, this one can'e be beat.
Acoustic has been making high-quality guitar amplifiers since before most of you were born. When I started looking for a small amp to practice, this one stood out.
The sound is warm and true. The built-in chorus effect is a nice touch (again, for the price) and in spite of what another reviewer said, it does much more than boost the volume - which I didn't notice at all.
This amp is a fine choice for a player looking to add quality amplification to an acoustic-electric guitar. It sounds great with my ESP XTone PA-1 and I think it is a great value.
It is solidly built. The EQ gives a player a lot of flexibility. I highly recommend this amp to a player who wants something small and inexpensive for practice. If I need to upgrade, I will seriously look at Acoustic's other amps.
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
This amp has enabled me to play duets with a violin that is louder than my classical guitar. Now I can hear myself play over the violin. This amp is perfect for my use and it was a great bargain.
It arrived just two to three days after placing my order.
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
Great value for the buck.
Great sound right out of the box. Light weight, easy carry on gigs. With line out. The built-in chorus is great. Has no reverb but I added a Danelectro echo. Works great with accoustic Ovation. I used the amps settings instead of the guitar settings for a richer, fuller sound. Can't beat the quality at this price. I was a little skeptical at first but after I played with it I was pleasantly surprised. Good investment.
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
For a small practice unit, it is K, but for a gig, get a bigger, nicer unit, and try it out before taking it out of the store.
I purchased this about 6 month ago, it had the basic features I wanted, chorus is nice to have, but I don't use it. I use the EQ on my acoustic rather than on the amp.
Volumn pot has 2 settings, Zero and OUCH!, I have fiddled with the volumn knob enough so I have found the "happy medium"
It is a good value for the buck, but I should have exchanged the unit when I first tried it. As little as I use it, I can live with the volumn pot issue
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I use this amp for both playing & recording my Martin D-35 & D-12-7. After 45+ years of playing and owning 1 of there Bass amps since the 70s, and it still works like the day I bought it, I had no concern about how well built this little acoustic amp was. The 3 band EQ is really all you need to fine tune your sound & the chorus is a nice bonus, although I would have rather had reverb I just add it though a mixer. To find a Line Out on an amp at this price was perfect for my recording needs.

Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I just picked this amp up a couple of day ago and put through its paces. I have a Silver Creek guitar that I got from MF about a month ago and I have installed a pickup system in it. It sounds really great through this little amp. Acoustic amps have been around for a really long time their not a fly by nite company. Remember Led Zepplin the bass amp was an Acoustic so thats where we all first got to hear these amps. I figure if it was good enough back then and is still hanging out in 2010 then it will hang out with me. Its all you need you can use it as a monitor for your acoustic guitar and it has a line out for the PA. I tried the 30 watt it wasnt worth spending another 100 bucks for 15 more watts and digital effects. I just need an acoustic amp for my acoustic guitar. This does what it was designed for it makes you guitar sound better its not over the top I was not impressed with the built in chorus I would rather just had reverb but they got it right any way I would recomend this little amp if you need a PA to sing through get a PA other wise save a ton of money that you could use else where like on a new pickup system for your guitar.
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
This Amplifier is well worth the $99.00 dollar price tag and then some. It is an unbelievable bargain. I own one and I have it connected to an American made Martin, an all tonal wood guitar that has No ( H.P.L.) composites with this C.F. Martin which is equipped with Fishman's electronics and a Sitka spruce top, African Mahogany sides and back and all the Brilliantly clear and bright Tones it brings along with it. With the amplifier connected to it, it enhances the tones even more than you would expect. The sound from the Martin or any other good or halfway descent tone wood guitars when amplified by this simple yet unbelievably sounding amplifier is absolutely a joy to anyone's ears. The sound is much richer and brighter than you would expect from an amplifier in that price range, plus the chorus depth adds a unique distinction to the sound. Some reviews say it doesn't do anything to enhance the sound but I assure you that it adds another pleasant dimension that you just cant ignore! For the price it is unbeatable. You must hear it to be convinced of it's sound quality and for the price I highly recommend this amplifier to anyone who needs an amplifier for their acoustic guitar and doesn't want to spend four or five hundred dollars for some bigger names like Marshall, Roland, Fender or the like. For the money you can't beat sound quality, I highly recommend this product....
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
I play as an accompanyist with our church choir and wanted a not-too-expensive amp that had enough power, but that I could leave in the choir loft. This amp is surprisingly loud for a 15 watt-er and has a nice, rich sound - especially after I disconnected the co-axial tweeter, which gave the amp a somewhat "brittle" sound. On the display model at G.C. the Chorus feature added nothing to the sound, but on my model, it works perfectly and sounds so good I may actually use it! By the way, I play Ovation Celebrity 6 and 12 strings (The 12 was the main reason I unhooked the tweeter, but the 6's sound improved as well). All-in-all, I'm quite happy with my purchase and would recommend this amp highly (esp. at this price!)
Comments about AG15 15W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:
Wow! What a great acoustic-electric amp! This amp has alot of bang for the buck! This amp is very loud for a small amp and it has great bass response. It has a great sounding chorus effect onboard, I gave it a 4.5 rating on features because it lacks a reverb effect, which I think would be a great touch, but you can always put a reverb pedal on the front end and remedy that area. I would like to mention that this amp is dead quiet too. The potentiometers (control knobs) are very solid also, not loose like some amps out there. This amp is very well constructed. I would put this amp up against most higher priced acoustic-electric amps. This is a real bargin, I highly recommend this amp.
