Before purchase, I read every single review of bass amps in 10W & 15W sizes, plus many reviews of larger amps. I finally settled on this amp. After owning & using the B15 amp for 2 months, I'm GLAD I chose this. The switches & knobs are excellent. The sound quality is excellent. I use it for practice both with my Fender JP90 & my Ibanez SR406. Both sound great through this amp. The overdrive is great, allowing me to go anywhere from sweet & clean to raw & dirty. The volume at 1/2 scale is enough to shake my home - and, it still sounds good that way. The cabinet is very sturdy, and the strap seems both convenient & durable. The appearance is attractive, the layout of controls is excellent, & I really like the mellow purple light of the power switch. (It's just pleasing to me.) The price was affordable despite my limited budget. It was a great deal, for this price. If I ever hear anyone saying they're thinking about buying a bass practice amp, I'll wholeheartedly recommend this one. I'm convinced I made the best possible choice.

Bought this amp for home recording and jamming at home. Great value, has nice tone and easy to use. Playing a Fender Squier P Bass through it, very impressed with set up and it sounds in my home studio. Very worthwhile purchase.

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

The rattle is most likely from where the speaker wires travel through the hole from amp to speaker compartment. Add silicone to hold the wire snug in the hole. They should start doing this at the factory. It is a common issue with these amps.

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

I'm a guitar player that was recruited to play bass on some songs in my band. I had to leave my gig bass amp at the practice space so I needed something at home. I read all the reviews and thought this sounded like it had the most kudos and features in its price range. I got it on sale, had to wait for it to be in stock.

I thought it would sound louder, but it is perfect for practicing at home. I does do some rumbling and I think there is a rattle in it. If I were to do it again I'd get it again. Cheap, quality product.

Though I do need to figure out the ratlle.

Was looking for a small amp to use for home practice and practice with band - can get a respectable volume without distortion - also, very easy to transport-and I like the auxiliary input feature so you can play MP3's through it for review. All in All a solid value for the money!

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

Had this amp for two weeks. Have used it for home practice and am VERY pleased with it for that use: at moderate volumes, the sound is excellent.
The band I'm in practiced "partially unplugged": the singer is unmiked, the guitarist uses a tiny Roland Cube, and I (bass) play through a very small practice amp, and the drummer uses brushes. I had been using a Roland Cube 30/12", and only needed to run the volume up to 3-4 to fit in.
I feel that this amp will require pushing to the upper ends of the power range to fit into this sound scanario; I think it will have enough power to serve its' purpose, but in a feisty jam, it's going to be "pushed" and the sound quality breaks up.
But when played within reasonable volume/power requirements, this amp sounds fantastic. It's a great value at it's price, and compares very favorably to comparable amps.
