Before purchase, I read every single review of bass amps in 10W & 15W sizes, plus many reviews of larger amps. I finally settled on this amp. After owning & using the B15 amp for 2 months, I'm GLAD I chose this. The switches & knobs are excellent. The sound quality is excellent. I use it for practice both with my Fender JP90 & my Ibanez SR406. Both sound great through this amp. The overdrive is great, allowing me to go anywhere from sweet & clean to raw & dirty. The volume at 1/2 scale is enough to shake my home - and, it still sounds good that way. The cabinet is very sturdy, and the strap seems both convenient & durable. The appearance is attractive, the layout of controls is excellent, & I really like the mellow purple light of the power switch. (It's just pleasing to me.) The price was affordable despite my limited budget. It was a great deal, for this price. If I ever hear anyone saying they're thinking about buying a bass practice amp, I'll wholeheartedly recommend this one. I'm convinced I made the best possible choice.

Great sounding amplifier. Brings out the best qualities in my PJ bass. Nice 3.5 auxiliary input for music or computer. Very happy with this purchase. I can't imagine a better 15 watt amplifier. Using it in my studio for practice.

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

Had this amp for two weeks. Have used it for home practice and am VERY pleased with it for that use: at moderate volumes, the sound is excellent.
The band I'm in practiced "partially unplugged": the singer is unmiked, the guitarist uses a tiny Roland Cube, and I (bass) play through a very small practice amp, and the drummer uses brushes. I had been using a Roland Cube 30/12", and only needed to run the volume up to 3-4 to fit in.
I feel that this amp will require pushing to the upper ends of the power range to fit into this sound scanario; I think it will have enough power to serve its' purpose, but in a feisty jam, it's going to be "pushed" and the sound quality breaks up.
But when played within reasonable volume/power requirements, this amp sounds fantastic. It's a great value at it's price, and compares very favorably to comparable amps.

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

This is a terrific bass amp. It is pretty full featured, easy to use, and has a great sound. The workmanship is first class, and all controls feel substantial and solid. The 10" speaker is full and clear, with a great warmth to it. My favorite feature is the "shape" button, which allows me to go from a more modern sound to a dry, woody, almost upright bass type sound, with the flick of a switch.

The overdrive seems to do little until it is turned up quite a bit, but has a very pleasing sound that you could add to a lot of songs. It really serves up a nice bit of grit.

This is a well designed, easy to use, great sounding small bass amp, with a nice variety of sounds. You can't go wrong with the B15.

This amp is surprisingly powerful for its size, and doesn't have the annoying buzz or pop that inexpensive amps commonly have. Controls are simple and easy to use, the construction is solid, and the sound is amazing. I get good tone at all volume levels, and can see using this amp for years to come.

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

I use this amp with two bass guitars with passive pickups, mostly for practicing at home and with my band in a small room. It's loud enough for a coffeehouse performance but probably not loud enough for a noisy bar. My bandmates and I think the tone is good. This amp has a 10" speaker and I think that gives it the edge over other practice amps in the same price range that have 8" speakers. I like to play with very clean tone so I seldom use the overdrive feature, which sounds OK, it's just not my style.

I needed a little bass amp for home studio recording and for playing around the house with friends. This little amp exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I was surprised at how loud it can get. I have not tried it in any performance setting, but that's not really what it's for -- although if you were set up in a little acoustic gig, it would probably suffice. Great tone. I bought it partially based on the other positive reviews here -- I had the same experience.

Comments about Acoustic B15 15W Bass Combo Amp:

I just finished a bass build and was in need of a good practice amp. I searched product reviews and internet forums and decided on the Acoustic B15. The price, the positive reviews and the fact it had a 10" speaker were the deciding factors. I was very impressed with the build quality, and even more impressed whein I plugged in. I can't believe an amp this size can pump out the lows it does with only 15 watts. The sound is warm and rich with excellent clarity. What an awesome tone.My bass has GFS active pickups that boost the lows and highs and anything over about 1/3. volume starts to distort a liile.I haven't had the opportunity to try it on a passive bass but I think you could probably get more volume without the amp running out of headroom. At about 1/4 volume playing downstairs, it was enough to wake up my wife upstairs. She said the sound permeates the whole house and she absolutely hates this amp. I see that as a positive feature, don't be fooled by the 15 watt output. It's not something you would gig with, but it is plenty for the home. I was so impressed with the quality and performance of this amp I have since purchased an Acoustic ag15 acoustic guitar amp. I am as equally pleased with that. Great sound, great build quality, great price.
