OVERVIEW

These perfectly paired monsters will rattle the walls of any venue.

Combining massive output, advanced tone shaping, and convenient signal controls, the B600H is an ideal bass amp head for dominating the stage or crafting the perfect studio tone. The iconic Acoustic B810 cabinet is a thundering 8 x 10" beast that makes the perfect partner for the B600H's output.

The B600H has two inputs: one for passive and one for active pickups, plus input gain and output volume controls. The clip indicator lets you know when your signal is overdriving the preamp, although with the harmonically rich distortion of the B600H's preamp circuit, you might want it to overdrive! The mute function coupled with the rear panel tuner send lets you tune silently on stage. Add the 6-band EQ and notch filter into the mix, and you've got total tone control. Generate deep, thundering lows, aggressive, punchy mids, or crisp, clean highs”any sound you want is yours to be had.

The rear panel offers an array of possibilities. Multiple speaker outs let you work with many cabinet configurations. The direct out with independent level control”which you can send pre or post EQ”is perfect for getting a solid DI signal to a console for live sound reinforcement or studio recording. The
effects loop with mix control allows you work with line level, studio-grade gear for advanced tone shaping. Use the footswitch input to put the control at your feet for the complete bass rig.

The 8x10" speaker array is the ultimate bass cabinet configuration, complete with an on/off switchable high horn driver for powerful tone across the sonic spectrum.

Acoustic has designed the massive B810 cabinet with features for making transportation easy. In addition to imparting a tight punch to your sound, the sealed cabinet keeps your electronics safe from tough conditions on the road or in rehearsal. The heavy-duty bar handle on top of the angled rear surface, plus oversized nylon casters and a thick steel kick plate, make it simple to grab, push in, and roll. Rear skid rails let you use leverage to lean and push it into most vehicles without ever having to lift it. And if you do need to lift it, it's got spring-loaded handles on the bottom.

The classic Acoustic look remains: nickel corners, black cloth grille, and the iconic giant blue stripe join you to a tradition of great bass players who have helped to create the Acoustic legacy.

Welcome Back The Acoustic Big Rig!

Comments about Acoustic B600H and B810 Stack:

Being a professional working bassist of 30 years, I've played just about every market and boutique amplifier out there. My longest stays were with Peavey then Ampeg as they had the tone I was looking for. But I did start out on an Acoustic 360 and have always wanted that amp back. Well, it's back and better than ever. I bought 2 of these stacks and I'll never buy another. Best tone I've ever had! Get one you won't regret it!

Comments about Acoustic B600H and B810 Stack:

I once seen this amp when I was testing out a Fender Jazz Bass, and it's sound was tottaly nice and clear. It looks great, sounds great, price.. meh yeah expensive, but it is big so it equals out. Im not too sure how loud it gets or the lows it produces. I never really got to turn it up. (I fear this thing may not go too low) Maybe it was the bass. Maybe I just gotta test it again. If you have the money, and need something to gig with or even just play on your own time, get this amp, I know I would.

Hands down, the best value for a full-stack

Comments about Acoustic B600H and B810 Stack:

I'm a gigging musician in a cover band that plays everything from the 60's to today, from funk to rock n'roll to country, pop and alternative. I'm a VERY picky buyer and tried at least a dozen different half-stacks: Fender, Ampeg, GK, Mesa Boogie, Genz-Benz, etc. I really liked the B600H paired with a 4x10, but when I paired it with the B810, I was so impressed, I bought it on the spot. Fact is, you can get this great sounding full-stack for less money than a less powerful Ampeg amp and a 4x10. I absolutely love this rig. The only negative thing I have to say about it is if you're taking it on the road, you will want to buy a Tuki cover or something similar for the B810. The thing is so heavy, it's bound to get knocked around. Mine got quite a few nicks and scratches before I got the cover, but now everything is peachy. You will not regret buying this rig.

Comments about Acoustic B600H and B810 Stack:

As a pro bass player for many years, I have played through many amps. This is the best one I have ever owned. The B600H is a monster. Enough power to blow you away from the amp. Ample tone shaping to eleminate the need for any outboard processing, save my BBE sonic maximizer. The only thing hard to get used to is that it is vented on top, so you wont want to place your drink there. I chose the 15" bottom and 2/10 top. Just a personal prefrence for perhaps a bit wider sound parametric, and the fact that for smaller venues, I have the option of just setting up one cab. It's somewhat expensive, but I would recomend it to any bass player, that plays on the pro level.

Comments about Acoustic B600H and B810 Stack:

I've been waiting 3 years to buy this amp. I compared it to ampeg and gallien-krueger's 8x10. I plugged it to a fender jazz and wow, great overall sound. The acoustic B600 allows you to virtually get any sound you want from it. The B810 stack gets really good sound. I love separate tweeters in the system which gives more control on adjusting your highs, it also has all the bottom you will ever need. I can't wait to play my musicman through this(Big Louis Johnson fan). For the price, eventhough a thousand dollars is a lot of money, for that much power and the cabinet, it's worth it. I've been playing through an old 1x15 crate 100w amp and I'm at the point that I don't even play it anymore. I plan to have this by my birthday-5/23. I probably will have to settle for this used, but that's fine with me.I will no longer be denied. Life's too short,do yourself some justice and buy this rig, sure this is no mark bass but the features on this rig would cost you double. P.S. I heard the cabinet construction is made better than a lot higher end brands. If Larry G. and Jaco used it, then it's good enough for me.
