I bought this to replace a Randall Minion 15 R which replaced a Fender Frontman 15 G. Wow is there a difference! I have read some other reviews who complain about the lack of power, this is a practice amp. You could probably play a smal bar and band practice for sure; anything larger you need to pay more than hundred for an amp. I have also heard a complaint about the lack of distortion, which was my main worry. It has plenty of distortion and gain; not sure what guitars the other reviewers are playing. The best feature is the "MidShift Button", it works on rhythym or lead channels and makes texturing your tone just a bit very easy. As someone who is still taking lessons and learning, I appreciate a good quality practice amp. It is nice to be able to hear clearly when I clunk a chord or accidentally catch another string. I didn't have that clarity with the Randall or the Fender and the distortion is much better. I'm very glad that I traded my amps in on other equipment and left me with an opening to buy this gem.

Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G20 20W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

I needed another practice amp and I liked the larger speaker. This was replacing the others I have that are going to the grandkids. The amp sounds good and has some kick to it. If you like distortion, you can adjust the gain/volume and it sounds decent. Clean channel is good. This could have been 5 stars but the rear of the cabinet had a small piece of the covering material missing. It bugs me that Acoustics' quality control missed it or just didn't care.

Comments about Acoustic Lead Guitar Series G20 20W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

I needed a small, portable, light weight combo amp, for smaller gigs and rehearsals, when we can't play loud in my friend's basement, for one reson or another. Simple to use, gives your guitar's notes punch, with clear defininition. The overdrive channel is very usable as well.I like using a small overdrive pedal with the clean channel alone, as I do Blues and Classic Rock. When I am doing a Wedding job, I use her for the coctail hour, performing solo Jazz guitar with a mic through the PA, when the keyboard player isn't interested in working the aformentioned time slot. Acoustic has quality products, and this G20 is just another one in a long lineage of great bass and guitar amps, manufactured since 1967! I got it for half price, and I couldn't be happier. Buy one!

Good little quiet amp when idle, powerful enough use in small gigs or larger if a PA system is available, I have 2 now. It's fun to use an AB switch between the sound settings or BOTH1
