Comments about Aguilar DB 210 2x10" Bass Cabinet:

I honestly don't know whats up with the previous reviews of this cab. I own this cab and pair it with the DB115 from Aguilar and trade off heads between the Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 and Ashdown ABM 500 EVO 3. I can't say enough about the reliability, sound, and character of this cab. I play 4 and 5 string, active and passive, single and humbucker electrics as well as upright arco, pizzicato, and slap through this cab. I have used it for various styles. All I can say is that performs wonderfully with whatever I throw at it.

The only complaint I have had in the 3 years that I have owned this rig is that the 210 on its own with an active 5 string is a little weak, if it is on a stage outside, without a PA backing it up. This being said the environment is playing a big role in the sound quality. I should also mention I think the weight could be a problem for some, I avoid stairs as much as possible.

To be fair to the previous reviewer, I keep my cab in road case, but I do leave it in an unventilated garage with no insolation in the midwest. So yes, I can see why the sun in florida could cause you problems, but that sounds a lot more like poor decision making rather than a malfunction. Some times I feel like my own decision to leave my rather expensive music equipment in a garage through winters dropping well into the negative could cause problems.

However I am happy to report that my cabs have sustained no damage since their purchase 3 years ago. I feel like it is fair for me to keep in mind that after owning something for more than a month, my own habits play a big role in a piece of gears' continued performance and condition.

Unlike the rigs I have owned from dampeg, this rig has not had any problems. I like this rig so much that I bought a sl112 to pair with the tone hammer for easy, quick, pickup gigs and save the bigger rig for stages that call for it.

Comments about Aguilar DB 210 2x10" Bass Cabinet:

Very dissappointed in Agulars warranty process. I liv in sunny Florida and cant always get my cabs in and out of the car between gigs, so they are subject to some heat. The wrapping outside the cab is shrinking and peeling now after 1 years use. Contacted Agular to get some help. Was honest and said I am in the south and it gets hot. The will not honor the 2 year warranty and want me to pay shipping and to new York to recover THEIR defective matterials! Very angry and dissappointed now. Looking to sell them if they are going to be this rude about waranty.

Box O' thunder

Comments about Aguilar DB 210 2x10" Bass Cabinet:

This is my 3rd Aguilar cabinet. That should say something. Thing is, I love this cab! That's because for a 2x10 cab, I feel it does EVERYTHING well. It has smooth highs, a very nice mid voice and a low roar that I've come to love in Aggies. I use it alone and set on it's side for a mini tower effect. My ONLY complaint is that it's not light. At 59 lbs you know you're carrying something but it sure is solid and I still prefer cast/ceramic drivers to Neo. The LOOK of the thing is just ICING on the Cake! I got the Monster Green and it is classy. I've seen it in other colors; equally cool! So, go pick your color and enjoy one of the BEST 2x10 cabs on the market!
