While the Ampeg pedal is built well, looks great, and does what you would expect, it is a far cry from the superior octive pedal I was lead to believe it is. It does not track as fast as hoped, it doesn't handle more then one note well, and it is expensive. I didn't think the sound quality was anything to brag about either. All in all I think think buying a Boss is money better spent.
I just got this pedal about a week ago and I'm really enjoying it. When you've got the controls in the right place it sounds incredible. The one problem is that you have to be play notes that are near each other to have the best tone. But I still recommend it.
