A great cabinet for clear, dense, cutting bass tones.
4 x 10" speakers with 2" coils and 30 oz. magnets. To enhance these is an added 1" horn. The cab handles 400W RMS and 800W program. 8 ohms. 25" x 24" x 16". 91 lbs.

I use this cab. in a number of settings and configurations,with a V4B,SVT Classic,and a SVT450,I usually add the B115HE,becuase the sound is well balanced and gives a classic Ampeg sound,also use a 18E cab.,and the sound is beyond compare,set alone, this cab. gives you the classic Ampeg sound that can not be found in any other cab.,this cab. has functioned for me for 15 yrs. without a single problem of any kind.I play Fender AM. STD.5 string Jazz basses/Roto Sound RS 665LD strings/Monster Cable SP 1000.

I have used this cabinet with several different amp heads, and it sounds great with all of them. The clarity and ammount of air this thing pushes is incredible. I haven't found quality like this in any other cabinet, even more expensive than the cost of this one.
As far as just a speaker cabinet goes, you don't have many options. This cab has a level control on the back that works great while most others will not have anything.
This cabinet has fantastic clarity while providing that perfect punch; better than any other cabinet I have ever used. The speakers and the box are very durable. The only problem is the tolex covering is easy to tear.
This cabinet is at a great value for the money. I have played plenty of cabinets that cost the same amount or more and still not have the quality that you get with this one.

This is a wonderful sounding cabinet.I have it paired with an SWR head and it has the sound i was looking for.It is durable, and i know this because i have played hundreds of gigs without fail.It sounds great in any room.Plenty of punch on the low end with crisp clear highs.I bought mine used and it will last a long time!The attenuator in the back is great for different room adjustments also.Do not hesitate to buy this wonderful product.RECOil would not stear you wrong

I picked this cab up to replace the GK backline 410 i had. But since I'm using a GK backline 600, this cab sounds really scooped but thick. It has a lot of depth to it. My GK cab was the exact opposite. It wasn't very deep, but it had a lot of low mid response and presence. Surprisingly, both cabs run together sounds really clear and bouncy- really distinctive great sounding. And when my friend played his ampeg 3pro through it, it got any tone imaginable. Great Cab.

I picked this up about 2 years ago and paired it with SVT-HE15 and pluged in to one of the old 7 tube SVT-Pro3s. At half volume it shakes walls and vibraites your chest with that crystyl clear deep tone. Way up is just insane, but 0 distortion. A good friend hass an 8-10 an yes it's louder but I love the old fat tone of a 15.Incidently I had always played GK. The old RBs were so sweet but thier last two highend products I boughtfailed uterly, one cab even blowing a head. My Ampeg head tipped of the top of the stack at a show. I pluged it back in and and it was just like out of the box. One prob. Tolex.

I upgraded from my ashdown MAG_410t cab to this one for my main 410. Thia thing is loud. I run my SVT410 with an Ampeg B2R head and it sounds amazing this cab handles the slightest changes made by the 9 band eq. I simply love the tweeter control in the rear really helps me shape my sound to my exact needs. It like any other 410 does not handle the lows of a B string all that great and the non ported design hurts it in the low end department as well. But the non ported design really helps with clarity on high notes. The casters are great and solid they help in moving this thing around because it weighs a ton! The Tolex tears easily so I took a half point off on the quality and the front grill is very weak so I took another half point off the quality. This is a great sounding and solid cab worth the money just be careful on the tolex and grill. Invest in a cover.

I spent weeks bottom feeding, looking for a cabinet to match my Ashdown MAG300. I set a budget, and nothing souned just "right." Everything I looked at entailed some sort of compromise. In sound, quality, or features, nothing was in the ballpark. Then a sales rep suggested I just "try" something outside my budget - the Ampeg. If you never played thru an Ampeg, you wouldn't understand how right this thing sounds. Warm, punchy, loud. The quality is top notch - as you would expect from Ampeg. The sound is fantasic. Blow your budget up - if you're looking for a 4x10 bass cab, look no further, stop wasting your time. It will last forever, and you'll be happy longer.

I know I seem ignorant in putting all fives down for this guy, but there's just no second guessing this thing. You can never go wrong with ampeg, whatever size or shape it is. It's a name that you can feel good about trusting. This particular cab punches a lot of sound for it's relatively small size. It's seen a lot of action already cuz I let a buddy of mine borrow it. It's very durable and it sounds great no matter what kind of crap you run through it! The price is pretty agreeable for what you're getting, a quality cab that should last you through your playing career!

I bought mine two years ago and paired it up with an Ampeg B2RE just for jamming and small gigs...Even with that little head, this thing still kicks out some serious punch and the low end is beyond compare. With my LTD B-2500 it is the ultimate metal/hard rock sound. You'll love it, promise.

When I first got this cab, I was more than amazed. It has fantastic tone, and can take some pretty brutal volume levels. Only complaint I have about it is that it can't handle low tuning AT ALL!!! If you are playing in E standard or drop D, this is an excellent cab, and you won't find a better one for the price. If your are like my band, (playing in C#, Drop B, and Drop A), I would recommend you save your money and try to pick up a cab that holds real low tones very well.
