The ABM C410T-500 EVO II combo delivers high-powered tone with plenty of tools to shape it.
The ABM C410T-500 EVO II is a 575W RMS combo amp designed to satisfy bass purists and tech-heads alike. Three rotary tone controls provide 20dB of cut and boost at 60Hz, 660Hz, and 5kHz and are supplemented by two pair of additional sliders, providing 15dB cut and boost at 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3kHz, and 2.6kHz. The EQ can be switched on/off and flat/shaped by footswitch, enabling you to go from a flat fretless sound to a boosted sound with ease. The single input is switchable for passive and active instruments. A blend of solid state and dual-triode tube preamp stages can be preset and selected by footswitch, providing access to a massive range of clean, warm, and overdriven tones.
The footswitchable subharmonic generator tracks the main signal precisely and reproduces it an octave lower. A subharmonic level control lets you add just the right amount of low-end reinforcement--everything from a subtle thickening of the sound to unbridled, bone-crushing tone.
The ABM C410T-500 EVO II Combo also features a front panel-mounted balanced direct out with pre- or post-EQ switching, a sub-bass output, tuner output, FX loop, and a line input for connecting an external sampler or sound source. Output muting cuts the signal from the direct out but leaves the tuner output live, allowing silent tuning. The upgraded power section has faster transient attack, more headroom, and even less noise.
Ashdown BlueLine speakers are designed to achieve a superb balance of power; transparency; and deep, controlled low end without sacrificing any of the mid-band attack and high-end brightness that are so important in modern bass sound.

I've got a MAG 300 410T, and I wanted an intermediate rig that I can use at most clubs. When the price dropped on this, I bought it. As usual, Ashdown tone is killer, and the ABM 500 C410 has plenty of power to shake walls. Tons of mids and I love the punchy bright rock tone of the 4 - 10" speakers ! It'll cut through any screaming guitar, and all bass players know what I'm talking about here. The sub-harmonic and Valve Drive work well for adding a little chorus and distortion. The controls are simple to use and can quickly be dialed in to taste. The instruction manual is very explanatory. It's a bit pricey, but I love it and feel that it's worth the cost.
