The Perfect Ten is a solid little amp that's great for the bedroom or small gigs.
The Perfect Ten bass amp combines a 30W power section with a single 10" Ashdown BlueLine bass speaker. Sounds can be shaped quickly and intuitively using bass, mid, and treble controls, supplemented by a pre-shaped deep switch for added enhancement. Headphone output lets you practice whenever you want, and the external speaker out lets you connect another cab with ease.

I've had this amp for over a year and had NO problems with it. 30 watts through the 10" speaker is great for practice. I have used it for several television appearances with my rock trio and it kept up with the acoustic drums and the guitar player's 30 watt tube amp. No one will be disappointed with this amp.

I bought the Ashdown Perfect Ten as a small bass amp for home use. The first one I got blew a fuse just as I took it out of the box and plugged it in. Had to return it. The second one I bought lasted a couple of days before it blew a fuse and cut out on me. Sent it in for repair and got it back only to have the fuse blow out on me a week later. This amp is not worth the trouble. As for features, it does have a nice array of controls to shape your sound and the amp actually sounds very good when it works, but unfortunately this product proved to be unreliable. Not recommended

Perfect practice amp. For the price, this is a great amp. As others have said, this amp has the specific purpose of practicing at home in a decent size room. I'd buy it again.

I really liked this little amp. Halfway decent tone with a good amount of bottom for an inexpensive unit. Unfortunately it didn't power up recently, one year after purchase - no apparent reason. Looked into getting it fixed but couldn't find anything about repairs on this site or any other - including Ashdown's. Opened it up and found both secondary fuses blown. Looks like the output stage is toast and it's probably not worth it to repair.Oh well....

This is a nice little self practice amp. You could use it to jam with a guitar or maybe drums, but prob not both at the same time. Wouldn't recomend it for gigging, not really designed for that though. P-bass owners might find the tone a little muddy (i did), but my Schecter Custom 4, Stingray Stearling, and buddys jazz bass all came through suprisingly nice. Bottom line, if you are like me and just want something with a nice tone for practice, you won't be disapointed. One of the best 'practice' amps I have heard.

This is an excellent bass amp. The quality and tonality are amazing for a 30 W amp. Definitely worth every penny. Can lightly pluck the strings and still get a loud sound, or can hammer on the strings and still get a clear sound.

Nice little practice amp but it has a constant hiss (even with no bass plugged in). The tone is good for a practice amp and it has enough power to practice with the band in a studio setting. No earth shaking abilities for gigs though.
