OVERVIEW

The smooth, haunting sound will stop your audience dead in their tracks.

Plug into the Behringer SM200 effects pedal and play one of your favorite licks. Each note slowly swells to its full volume--the same effect you get when you turn down the volume, pick the note and gradually turn the volume back up. But the SM200 does it automatically and much more consistently. Chords with string-bends are magically transformed into pedal-steel chops and signal-note passages take on the characteristic sound of a violin or cello being bowed. And if you really want to warp some minds, combine the SM200 with the Behringer Digital Delay DD600 and mimic the sound of your hottest licks being played backwards! In a world where faster is all the rage, nothing stands out like a slow, deliberate melody.

The SM200 lets you create a new standard in slow with its dedicated Attack and Sensitivity dials. The cool blue status LED tells you when it's activated, and the SM200's rock-solid on/off switch maintains outstanding signal integrity in bypass mode. This pedal runs on a 9V pattery or the Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply (not included).

Comments about Behringer SM200 Slow Motion Classic Attack Guitar Effects Pedal:

This product is housed in a standard Behringer pedal case, made of plastic. I am not a fan of this style of pedal as it feels like a toy under your foot. The quality of the product electronics are sub par, response is not very accurate and it will cut out mid swell often. I have used a few auto VOL swell type pedals and this is not the one to get, it is cheap for a reason. Save your money and buy a delay with vol swell and you will be better of, or if you don't need the auto function of it just buy a VOL pedal on a treadle.

Comments about Behringer SM200 Slow Motion Classic Attack Guitar Effects Pedal:

Of course no product is perfect for everyone all the time, though to read many reviews you'd think that was the standard.
Works great. If you expect to just play into a volume ramp device and not to have to adapt your technique you're in lala land.
Seems well built, simple and to the point. Does what I got it for.

Comments about Behringer SM200 Slow Motion Classic Attack Guitar Effects Pedal:

I know it says something along the lines of "make your guitar sound like a violin" on the box, but to me that's false advertisement. To get good volume swells, get a volume pedal. This thing is a knockoff of the Boss SG-1(attack decay), a rare vintage pedal that hasn't been made since the 80's and yields a sound that makes your guitar sound like it's in slow-motion or reverse.

Comments about Behringer SM200 Slow Motion Classic Attack Guitar Effects Pedal:

I didn't get any violin sound out of this effects pedal. However there is a delay and that's about it. There's no boost in sound either. I only played it once and feel like sending it back, or selling it on ebay but will probably gift it to someone that can appreciate it.
