OVERVIEW

An essential piece gear that goes above and beyond the capabilities of ordinary tuners.

No matter what kind of tuning you prefer, the Behringer Chromatic Tuner TU300 can accommodate you! That's because this crucial stompbox gives you three guitar modes (regular, flat, double flat), three bass modes (regular, flat, double flat) and a chromatic setting. Whether you stay in standard tuning, detune, or tune to an exotic tuning of your own design, the TU300 will get you there quickly and accurately.

To begin tuning, simply stomp the TU300's footswitch. The Single-digit LED display shows which note it's reading and the 11-point stream guarantees accurate tuning. TU300's super-briht display panel makes it easy to tune even in the darkest club.

The main Out jack allows you to cut the signal to your amp while you tune, or you can send a constant signal from the Bypass output. The status LED tells you when the TU300 box is activated and the solid electronic on/off switch maintains incredible signal integrity in bypass mode.

FEATURES
  • Precise 7-segment LED and 11-point Stream Meter guarantee accurate tuning
  • Reference tone adjustable from 438 Hz to 447 Hz
  • Mute/bypass function for silent tuning
  • 7 different tuning modes including Regular, Flat, Double Flat and Chromatic mode
  • Status LED for effect on/off and battery check
  • Runs on 9V battery or the Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply (not included)
  • First-class electronic on/off switch

As a bass player I am disappoisappointed

I play a 4 string B-E-A-D bass, and it doesn't pick up the B string at all. 5 and 6 string bass players will likely be similarly disappointed.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

I picked this tuner for its ability to mute the signal during tuning. It picks up decently and I haven't had any problems with it at all. I use a power supply so I can't comment on battery life. For the price I don't believe you'll find a better pedal tuner with a mute function.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

Good budget tuner. Definitely not the top of the market. Takes a second or two for the pedal to recognize the note but definatly worth picking up. As long as you don't stomp on this hard it wont break. Battery life is a little short. I recommend using a 9v adapter instead.

This worked about a week before it ceased to recognize anything above G# on the third string. That was about a year ago. I ran across it tonight and thought I might have overlooked something simple but no luck. Just money wasted.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

Tunes very quickly and accurately. Great alternative to BOSS TU-3. While it is a "plastic" case and frame, this is not an issue unless you plan on being destructive. I have had no problems with battery source or in harness with the rest of my board. While the all metal BOSS may be "indestructible", I can buy 3 more of the behringers for the same cost. Overall great, cost efficient product.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

Liked the price, hoped for the best, was disappointed.

MF didn't have the AC adapter in stock. It was on BO, but I elected to order it anyway and wait the several weeks for it to arrive. In the meantime I burned up 3 9-volt batteries, which were always a drag to change due to the very unorthodox design of the unit (I actually had to read the directions to figure out how to open the doggone thing - a real first for me). Please do yourself a favor - spend a little more and enjoy the convenience of the upgrade.

I bought one in 2008 and still use it. Insanely cheap as compared to a Boss and works every bit as well. I was afraid that the plastic box would break but 5 years later and still going. Battery is a pain to swap so get a power supply. Good buy though.

Comments about Behringer TU300 Chromatic Pedal Tuner:

This cheap pedal is essentially a copy of the renowned Boss tu2 and it does those same things pretty well. It tracks well and is about as accurate as the boss counterpart. For some reason, it doesn't like the low E of my pbass w/flatwounds but it tracks all my other guitars and basses just fine. When in bypass mode and with the pedal on, there is a noticeable hum when tuning so it doesn't quite cut out all the signal. But for how cheap it is, how can you go wrong? The plastic enclosure doesn't bother me since I take care of my gear very well. Behringer can be spotty on quality control, but it's hard to mess up on something as simple as a pedal.
