OVERVIEW

Fatten up your guitar's sound instantly with an octave or two of massive subterranean impact.

The Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 underpins your sound with added muscle, generating notes one and two octaves below what you play. The result is powerful, with deep, rich impact that is only possible when guitar and bass lines are joined at the hip.

First, use the dedicated Range control to specify whether you want to add beef to the high, middle or low frequencies, then dial in the amount of your original sound with the Direct knob. Lastly, turn up the Oct1 and Oct2 controls to add the lower octaves.

The UO300 isn't just great for fattening up guitar riffs--it'll add incredible beef to keyboards and bass too! The status LED tells you when the UO300 stomp box is working its magic, and the excellent on/off switch maintains superior signal integrity in bypass mode.

FEATURES
  • Add two additional tones using your guitar--1 and 2 octaves below the original tone
  • Dedicated volume controls for all three tones
  • Flexible 3-mode Range switch allows ultimate bass performance
  • Status LED for effect on/off and battery check
  • Runs on 9V battery or the Behringer PSU-SB DC power supply (not included)
  • First-class electronic on/off switch for highest signal integrity in bypass mode

Comments about Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 3-Mode Octaver Effects Pedal:

This thing is junk. No matter what setting I used, it produced the same intermittent fluttery weak garbled noise. Settings did not alter the junky tone. Do not buy this pedal.

Comments about Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 3-Mode Octaver Effects Pedal:

I thought I'd give this a shot since it was so cheap and there was only one other very short review, but I suppose I should have listened. This pedal does produce an octave effect, but is accompanied by so much extra noise and hum that it makes it essentially unusable. If you turn up the controls some or add in another pedal, you are no longer able to distinguish any notes and I was afraid I'd blow the speaker in my practice amp. It was so bad that I honestly thought it was a manufacturing defect and sent it back to be replaced, but the replacement pedal had the exact same problems. I think with this sort of effect I'm just gonna have to shell out for the electro-harmonix pedal or similar. This thing is just not salvageable at all, and I wonder why they even make it, there is no way this could have passed any sort of quality control at all.

Folks have been dogging this product....really? I reckon it's probably a personal problem, i.e., the "musician" is the issue. Geez.
For the price, this pedal is a great bargain. Get you some!!!!!

Comments about Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 3-Mode Octaver Effects Pedal:

It's great for adding some bass to your 6-string. One octave down sounds great. Two octaves down sounds shaky, so I don't use any volume that low. It doesn't play chords. If you stick with one note at a time, and mute the strings properly, you will love the sound. The battery compartment is under the pedal. Push both hinge pins in to pop it up.

Comments about Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 3-Mode Octaver Effects Pedal:

I aready reviewd this pedal once and I was wrong. Ac adapter makes this pedal very noisy but not all adapters. Buy otiginal behringer adapter and noise goes away. I also got it on my pedalboard and noise was gone using onespot adapter. Using a 9v battery is also dead quiet. I would not recomend for guitar use but for bass is awesome.Ibjust use first octave with 2nd turned all thw way down. Knobs are actually separaye volumes for each octave. On guitar it does not sound any good almost at all. But for a bass I would atrongly recommend it. Plus it is very cheap. Plastic casing should not fool you , this is very hard to break. I have other 3 of their pedals and never broke any of them using it 3 times a week.

Comments about Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 3-Mode Octaver Effects Pedal:

This is a follow up to a previous review I made back in October. I have used this product on several in-state and out-of-state band gigs, carried it in a case on an airplane, and shipped it back to Texas. It worked flawlessly, and continues to work flawlessly.
My buddy, who is the lead guitarist, was very impressed with the tone and volume this pedal achieves, for not a lot of $$. It really helps fill in the "holes" and "gaps" that are inherent in the sound of a 2 or 3 piece group.
In summary, I would highly recommend this pedal to any gigging musician. Rock on.

Comments about Behringer Ultra Octaver UO300 3-Mode Octaver Effects Pedal:

I really wanted this pedal due to very good combination of sound manipulation, BUT it is very noisy, too noisy. I was gonna used it with my bass set up and its a no go. Price is good if the pedal worked without the noise. I will be returning mine and probably going to get EHX since it is also not too pricey.
Effect work fine for bass guitar if you are not careful it can get very muddy and blurred to the point of being ear hurting glob of sound. This also is NOT true bypass , I verified that few times when I was testing the pedal. Noise problem could probably be fixed if someone knew what they were doing electronic wise.

As a bass octaver, I ran this alongside "others" with very similar results (for a small fraction of the cost).Responds well down to "B",as if to add the 5th string to a 4-string tuned to "E".
Not very useful above the "A" string, really likes heavier strings and hot input signals.
